Leave without Pay cannot be longer than a month if more than a month either it should be sick leave supported by evidence else its considered illegal for employer I think.
AFAIK once we lose the job then Nomination is no longer valid.

If your employer is starting to let people go it might be worthwhile letting them know now that you need the job for your PR application - they may take it into consideration. The company I work for is about to reduce at least 40% of it's staff so even though I do not have a PNP application in, I am hoping I will be able to keep mine.

Looks like the EE draws for new entries in standard mode are not happening. Probably this will speedup paper process. EE profiles for CEC and PNP are still being picked and processed.
Do you think they are stopping EE or immigration processes in general, even the ones going on?

I think my process is on pause because we didn't give our biometrics. We have booked for March 23 but they closed the offices before this date. So, I don't think they are processing it since they usually just start the background check after biometrics. The ones that don't need the biometrics I think it is going on.
