Our passports were dilivered to Ottawa on 19th March and we are already anxious to get them back.
Are your parents here in Canada? What's your plan after receiving PRVs and COPRs as Flagpoling and in-person interviews have been suspended?
Yes, my parents are in Canada. Once I get the passports, I will try to complete the landing process as border are quite now. Rest will see how it goes.

Hi, please update tracker (Line 376). When I check the Sponsor eCAS it shows "Decision Made" for both Sponsor and the PR Applicant. There is also a new line indicating that "We started processing your application" on March 10, 2020. Is this a good sign?

We had sent the additional documents requested (PCC from one of the countries and copies of ID for the applicant, divorce certificate and ID for sponsor) on March 1st, 2020. They also refunded the biometrics fee on March 18th (as my mom lives in Canada already) but they haven't sent us a communication for the past month.

Hello,

The sponsors who have parents in Canada and already applied for parents and grandparents sponsorship program should join together and write a collective letter to IRCC, Canadian government and other government institutions asking for help/advise to speed up the sponsorship procedure. Our parents are currently in Canada they can’t go back home and it is also not safe.

Hey guys, My parents were asked to provide PCC, Biometrics and Medical Exam on March 2nd (deadline April 5th), we were extremely happy that the papers are moving finally but of course with CoVID-19 we were hit with a curve ball and now everything is on hold (like everyone else). I emailed the embassy and submitted a ticket over the webform explaining why we can't meet the deadlines but heard no response. I take they will be understanding considering the circumstances.

Here is the kicker... my parents are with me in Canada on a SuperVisa and their visit expires in May 5th. I see no way they can travel back home or anywhere for that matter in May 5th. Do you think if I call CIC and explain they can extend their stay until things calm down? thanks

No need to call CIC for extend stay.
