Hello,

Need some guidance and help. I submitted my application for PR on Feb 29.

Yesterday’s I got an email that my application has been rejected due to “missing document” which they further explained that my australian police certificate is incorrect and I should see guidelines in the link they provided. However the information they have provided in the link is exactly how I applied for the certificate. Exactly the same way!

What to do?? I had a provincial nomination.... do I appeal??
Hi friends,
Does anyone know if you get additional points if you have (2) master degrees ?
If I am not mistaken, you can get 135 point for (1) master degree (without a spouse). However, it does not mention anything if you have (2) master degrees.

Thank you in advance.

Hi
It same had happened with me. And sorry we can’t do appeal for that. They never ask for any missing documents; just reject the application as they first review the documents to meet eligibility criteria. So make sure we provide all the documents and they want some specific documents specially from Australia along with police checks.

Hi i have a question, in computing crs score in the foreign experience, is it okay if it comes from two employers with same NOC or the required is only from one employer which is a continuous work? Thank you. Keep safe everyone. God bless.

For example, under my NOC as university lecturer, i have 2 years of experience from one university then another 1 year experience from other university? Will i put 2 years or 3 years? Thank you so much.
It is 3 years for you.

Hi Members,

I have a few queries, it might be a long post but want to give a proper background. I created my express entry profile in June, 2019 and I have eight plus years of work experience. I included all the work experience details while creating my express entry profile with its relevant NOC. The detail are as below:

2011 - 2013 : Worked for two years and the NOC is 6552
2013 - 2015 : Two years of work experience and the NoC is 1112 ( Financial Analyst)
2015 - 2018 : Three and half years of work experience and the NOC is 1112 ( Financial Analyst)
2018 - Till date : One year and three months of work experience and the NOC Is 1122 ( Professional occupations in Management Consulting)

I gave my primary NOC as 1112 ( Financial Analyst) as I had more experience in that field

I received my invite in the March 4th Draw with the score of 471. and I started arranging my documents. The questions I had was:

1. Can I change my primary NOC 1112 to 1122 as this is latest job and also, some of the jobs and duties are not matching for the NOC that I currently selected
2. As I can claim points only three plus years, can I remove my work experience that I had from 2011 - 2013 and add it to personal history? As I am not claiming points for that and also, do not think i can get a reference letter on the company letter for it
3. If I change my primary NOC to 1122 which is current job, I should only give jobs roles and responsibilities letter only for that or should I have to give for the other experiences listed as well? Confused on this cause a colleague of mine mentioned that he only showed his current experience roles and responsibilities letter to IRCC and not the old ones.

Will really appreciate any help on this.

Cheers!
Since you have already updated all of your work experience, you should upload reference letters for all.

To dig deeper, you have to upload reference letters for the number of years you have claimed under FSW to score 67. That's mandatory. Else, your profile will be rejected on the grounds of "FSW not met".

FSW is clearly mentioned under : https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers.html

Once you clear FSW, then for CRS, one gets maximum points for 3 years of work experience. To clear this stage, you will have to share reference letter for 2015-2018 and 2018 - Till date. But if in FSW, you have claimed more than 3 years of work experience points, then you need to provide more reference letters.

Which also answers your question about primary NOC, if you are going before 2018, what's the harm in keeping NOC 1112 as your primary NOC???

Can someone help me with my questions?

I applied EOI in Jan. 19 under International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry; however, I haven't get a invitation.
Now, I got a permanent full-time offer, so I want to cancel my current EOI, and re-apply with employment offer stream.

Is it okay to do that? Just worried if something affect to my application once I re-apply after cancel it.

Also, employment offer stream; does anyone knows the procedures, and if someone could tell me the timeline, that would be really awesome.
I want to know does this stream also need to get an invitation, or can I apply to get a nomination right away?

Thanks.
You can certainly do that.
If you have an offer letter supported by an LMIA, the procedure is clearly stated on SINP website. The timelines are changing however SINP usually approves in 8-10 months.

Hey man,

Thanks a lot for your detailed response. I selected 1112 as primary NOC but when I read the lead statement, it mainly relates to investment firms even though some responsibilities match that. I hence thought I can change the primary NOC to the current one which matches the lead statement. What do you suggest? Should I change primary NOC? Or would it attract attention?

You can do that. The only condition is primary NOC should qualify 12 months of work experience clause.

Awesome but one question say if I change my primary NOC and it matches the lead statement. Will they still look at my other experience if it matches with the lead statement? I am kind of worried that 1112 NOC would not match that much and hence looking to change primary NOC. Sorry man asking you a lot of questions.

Hi, all.

I am almost finished with my PR application. However, I do not want to pay the RPRF upfront (Right for Permanent Residency Fee)! But whenever I proceed to sign, transmit and pay, it requires me to pay the full sum (including the RPRF), I can't find where can I indicate I'm only paying the mandatory submission fees. I do know that RPRF can be paid until the PR is approved, but just can't find where to choose not to pay during submission...
Why do you want to do that? Pay RPRF, your application will be processed faster.

Hi,
On 13/Dec/19 (before ITA) , I submitted from work experience from 1/Jan/2017 to present and the system gave me 471 points by counting it as 3 years, despite the fact that 3 years were not complete yet. I received ITA on 19/Dec/19 and I submitted e-APR on 16/Feb/2020.

Do you think I am on risk? Can VO count my experience as 2 years because of missing 6 working days?
It will be approved.

I applied for pr I gave my biometric on February 25 and status appears in my Gc account
Biometric number

I don’t understand what it means and what’s the next step please I need your advice
Nothing to do. Your bio-metric will be updated in your profile and after that, just wait for PPR email.
