Oh wow and now better , i won't be able to go see her in April cause of this incompetent management of the virus in other places.

Country just been quarantined for 30 days (no entries , no exit allowed, any foreign) (and they don't even have a case yet)

Might even compromise her entry to Canada and make it longer is none sense!! (30 days makes it until April 12th ... and she has until April 22,23 to enter gosh!!for her immigrant visa unless mexico grant us an extension)

SAME!!!! my husband wants to come to Guatemala to see me April 9 with all this corona going on, El Salvador and Guatemala are the only ones with no cases so they putting double security in airports, so far he can still come but the danger of a layover in US or Panama to get to me is there this is so hard !!! feel you we similar in all of this

The thing is citizens are not allowed to leave country either in this situation.

For now there's still a hope cause i was to leave on April 3rd and the quarantine is "supposed" to be over for foreigns..
21 days leads to

April 1st...still is really crazy situation as if we needed that with all the stress we are living with the sponsorship.

Yea we had to redo them too, another $200 USD.

Mine are about to expire also but there are 3 in my application that will expire. Did they send you a request to redo your medical through gckey?

Omg.. 4 months from when you were told you need the interview until you got a date?? And then another 5 weeks for the actual interview. That's insane ‍♀. I seriously hope that won't be that same for us. I haven't even got the official notification from Mexico yet and we're 16 months in.

My notes said interview required November 5, 2019 and still no request or date given

how was the interview?

My interview had a few up and down moments, the officer requested my supporting documents before calling me in to the office, once I was in the office she asked generic questions about my wife, how did we met, when was the wedding, who attended, all generic questions. She asked me to go out 5 mins to review the documents and called me back in. She said she only had a concern with the financial support from my wife because seemed to be to much, I explained her why my wife was sending that much and she asked a few more questions. She never disagreed with me and just told me " well that was all the questions I had to ask you, we will be communicating with you via email within one or two weeks. She was actually not bad but it's been already week and a half and we haven't heard anything yet. Hopping the best my friends

Yes, they sent the request and we brought the new information to the medical office and had the medical completed. I hate that they make us do medicals only for them to expire. Why not ask for them when they absolutely need them. I’m sorry you might have to redo three of them!

My husband was told he was approved and he would get an email within a week but you know what, we did not get an email for over two months. So even if you don’t hear anything keep the faith! Something will come eventually.

Yeah well , they have to be dissuasive obviously like ppl going to Italy is totally crazy right now...

but places like my wife's country is safe at least for now. we'll see evolving but with the current Quarantine , probably gonna stay the same and keep it safer.
