I live in Jamaica and I did my interview for spousal family class sponsorship on February 20,2020.
I was given back my passports,how long is the wait to hear from them,the month of May will make it one year since my husband started the process.

All he said was that he was gonna review,,but someone told me just now that he waited 3 months after his interview to get a response from them

There is no standard response time.

Just my thoughts...I would have your husband order the notes for this application. Jamaica usually will stamp the passport on the spot. Find out what their concern is before so you can get ahead of it.

Why does Visa Office request applicants bring proof of relationship to the interview in most cases, when we have already given everything when we sent in additonal document request....?

I think most attempt to bring additional info, but also just to be prepared.

I mean don't they have our ADR on file? all the chats, all the relationship proofs, photos....why do they ask people to bring hard copies if everything is on their computer screens?

Possibly because they've only seen on computer. Whatever, it's their standard process.

Take last 3-6 months of call records print out, Whatsapp chat random screenshots from last 6 months, Video call screenshots random from last 6 months, any receipts for gifts sent in last 6 months.
