I believe you need to wait for it to change to "In Process" again. That's when they start processing your file and that's your AOR2.File was transferred to Mississauga on Feb 28, now ECAS went from "In Process" to "Application Received." I've heard Mississauga doesn't always send email for AOR2, should "Application Received" count as AOR2?
My representative said it may take 45-60 days to get AOR1 but as I see in the forum most ppl get AOR within 10-15 days.File reached sydney on 5 feb 2020 but not get AOR till 5 march. How many days more. please help.
888-242-2100 and the options are 2 1 1 0 to reach to customer supportDoes anyone know the phone number to check on application status?
That’s really a relief I was worried too bcz many got AOR after and same date as me hope they open our files soon amen!I called again today - that 888-242-2100 then option 2 1 1 0 and spoke with another agent as over a week ago they told me that they were just on January 20. However, seeing so many here whose application was received after mine (delivered on February 10) I was getting concerned that maybe FedEx screwed up. She checked and I was told that they have assigned a temporary number and my file is now in queue for an officer to review/process!!! This was such a relief (again). I gave her my full name and receipt number and that's how she found my information.
Shouldn't call too often, every call gets noted. you can see it when yo apply for gcms notes. It's not that it will really affect the application but doesn't seem a good idea to annoy officers with status requests every week.I called again today - that 888-242-2100 then option 2 1 1 0 and spoke with another agent as over a week ago they told me that they were just on January 20. Fair enough and point taken but I was either going to call or go nuts!! Like all of you, I paid a premium to FedEx to have priority mail and just wanted to make sure it was rec'd. Got spooked by the great news from everyone here that they were being processed and not hearing a word one way or another about mine was driving me nuts! I was a civil servant before, so kinda know how to speak with the officers to keep on their good side. But you advice is well noted.Shouldn't call too often, every call gets noted. you can see it when yo apply for gcms notes. When I applied for my PR I probably called 4 times in 7 months. 2 agents were nice and helpful and 2 were rude and last one almost told me not to call again lol
Well we're all on the same boat. Lot's of people are getting biometrics request, med requests or SAs and we only have AOR1 so far... nothing left than hope for the bestFair enough and point taken but I was either going to call or go nuts!! It is normal.Hi all, I am little worried that I haven't received medical request since Feb 23 that my Bio was requested and completed.
Can someone please tell me if this is normal.
In general in this thread - and it's normal - people are freaking out and contacting IRCC for minor delays of a few days.Fair enough and point taken but I was either going to call or go nuts!! Again, the advice is much appreciated. Have read the threads of previous months and noted the varying time-frames. Still needed to call to ensure my package was delivered. This was based on a previous experience with FedEx. Now that I know it has been received, my nerves will not be frayed. Again. Thanks. It is normal.

Relax. I know it's frustrating, but it takes a long time. Some faster, some longer. Read the threads from prevoius months or six months back or whatever. A few days more at this point is nothing.
I'm not an old-timer here but look at the previous month threads: AOR1, biometrics and medical go quickly. (Relatively). Then there's a lot of waiting. You're setting yourselves up for frustration.
