I submitted my citizenship application and it was received last October 2019, Unfortunately my application was returned last January 2020 due to a missing upper lines or part of the page 6 (Printing error) of CIT-0002 that I have to reprint and resubmit. My application form has the number written on top on the first page and based on my understanding it looks like a priority number or que number for the applications they received.

There was an explanation letter given by the officer who assessed my application with his initials. The following day I resubmitted it again with the same address (Courier Delivery) and this time I include a letter addressing to the officer who assessed my application.

My question is, Is my application process will go back to zero? so I have to wait for another 3 months to get and AOR?

Thank you very much

Usually another 3 months for AOR. Their reasoning is that they did not receive a complete package of the application. It happened to my friend whose application was returned in December while she had submitted in September. The second application was received in mid December and they received the AOR around 20th Feb.
