Any update ?
I am still waiting
Hi Sunny329 - my file was transferred to Calgary IRCC on February 2019. I have been waiting for over 13 months since my file was transferred (I am May 2018 applicant) and I haven't heard anything. I tried to follow up last week as I thought they lost my file. However, their reply is that once file gets transferred to local IRCC for further processing, it doesnt follow normal timeline anymore. They also said they cannot assign my file to an officer yet and did not even give me when that would be. Overall, my file is in process for 22 months now and still not sure if i am even getting close to the end... i hope yours is for a landing interview because if it is not, it is loooong frustrating ride.

Hi
I am sorry to hear about your situation
In my case i got email they said my file transfer to calgary for further assessment and they might ask me for interview or more documents
Did they also transfer your file for this reason???
Which city you are living in?
I live in calgary
I have one more question did they extended your work permit while you waiting for the decision?

We are married for over 2 years and applied under inland spousal category.
We did not get the services of a lawyer or consultant and applied on our own based on whatever was in the Immigration website.
I did apply for GCMS notes so we already have an idea why they transferred our file to local IRCC. Have you rquested for your own? It would help you a lot to understand possible issue they would like to clarify.
So I am practically just waiting for an interview schedule and it looks like Calgary & Edmonton IRCC are the offices that has the longest waiting period...over a year!!!
