Hello dears,
Now I feel myself very sad because of WES. Let me explain my case.
January 23, 2020 - I have send my full package of required documents to WES. Of course the envelope was sealed and signed.
Recently, about 2 weeks ago I got massage that my status put "On Hold" because of following reason:
Reason: WES received your document, but it was not sent directly from the appropriate examining body or institution that awarded your degree/diploma.

Instructions: Please ask the institution that awarded your qualification or the appropriate examining body to send your academic documents to WES in a sealed envelope that is stamped or signed across the back flap by the appropriate official. If you have already contacted the appropriate body, no action is necessary at this time.

My university does not offer shipping services, So I had to send it by myself.

The most interesting thing is that, my wife also send the same package of documents with me. Her status is in process and everyting is going ok.

Due to the requirements of WES, I send my original transcript and degree certificate to WES. Now, they are asking me to send transcript again LOL. How is it possible to resend my transcript if the original one is already in WES.

Is there someone who faced the same trouble ? Or does someone has ayn idea how to overcome this problem?

You should have taken attested transcripts to your university and asked them to seal it for you. With the university stamp across the back of it and signed by them i do not think you needed to send the originals as i never did. Even if your university does not offer shipping service a sealed envelope by them would have been enough.
The documents that you send them stay with them they don't return it, for me only the evaluation report was sent to me, but then i had only sent attested copies.
The only way i see now is :-
1- either ask wes to return your documents and send them as the way i told you.
2- Or get a copy of your transcript attested and sealed by the university and send it to wes and hopefully ask them to return originals.

You can also call wes and ask them directly how.

WES requested me to send original ones, that's why I sent them original documents.

You sent original degree certificate as well? WES doesn't ask for original documents.

Where are you from? It would be better to give more information so that someone from your country / University could give better guidance.

In the meantime you need to try and get your original documents back which is going to be difficult.

IF that is the case i would advice you to call them and clear out the matter as wes itself mentions on the website that there are two ways to send either university sends it directly or either you get it signed and sealed by university in an envelope and send it without opening.

I believe you might have put certificate and transcript together and sent? may be that would have caused the confusion. Just call them .

Yes I did put them together. One more thing, As my diploma issued in London, my country council was not able to put apostil that's why I got it from UK apostil service.

Call wes and explain your situation and also send them an email through contact us explaining your situation They will reply in 2 - 3 days on email.
And probably do explain in the email that you studied in a branch of the university and the diploma was issued by london. I would suggest get a letter from university regarding this and send that also. maybe this also caused the confusion. But first call or email them for a way forward.
