I got the same email 2 days ago....instead of getting biometric request like everybody else, I get this ghost email.
I noticed you were also put in the back burner...This is worrisome.
Also like you, this is my second sponsorship after divorcing the first one.

It is probably true that If you sponsored before, it takes longer. My application was slower than someone who had the same starting date as it is my second sponsorship. You eventually will get updates though

AOR 1 - Jan 11, 2020
Bio request - Feb 6, 2020
Medical request and SA - Feb 10, 2020
File transferred to MVO - Feb 19, 2020

most December applicants get bio and medical request a week after AOR1 while mine took 1 month.

Does anyone know why it takes so much longer to transfer certain countries files to the Visa Office. I have noticed a trend for Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan applicants.

They probably gather them up and send in a package costs less ?. Just guessing. lol. I'm in that boat with Jamaica...They haven't given any of us SA and we sent it in randomly throughout the month...

Ok... so I dont think it has anything to do with how many previous marriages. Everyone waiting over 25 days for sa since recieved has previous marriages? I think its based on the pa country and they level of checks they do... forinstance I believe they check the police clearance certificate and other stuff maybe it all depend on how quick they respond to them ect.. ive herd of people with 3 previous marriages getting tru in 4 months from start to finish.

....not previous marriages, but previous Sponsorships. They are concerned about whether the sponsor had previously defaulted on their sponsorship agreement, i.e did sponsored person collect welfare.

Oh.. but have none of those.. and I'm 31 days in.. so I think maybe country or tangent who got our app.

any other PAs from countries that will not do police checks without official requests from the CDN government? as per ircc instructions for ethiopia, we had to submit a "consent for police check" form with the application. we got our biometrics request, then our police check request, but seem to be a little delayed on the timeline for getting medical request...

Hi all,

I have sponsoring my wife and kids from India. I submitted the application in December. Biometrics are done and the other day I got an email saying that application is sent to Newdelhi for further processing. I had submitted Medicals which expired on 30th January 2020 and I have not received a request for new medical test. Does anyone have any idea approximately how many days it will take for the visa to be processed.

Hey. I am in similar situation except my aor is Jan 24 2020 and meds expired on 23rd Jan 2020. My status few days ago was medicals passed. Today I got biometric request and medical status changed to you don't need to have medical exams. We will send you a message if this changes. You know similar lines I forgot exact words. So my question is do you have same status with your medicals or did they request new one or medical passed? Thank you

Ha ha well I'm sure there are other countries they may not like worse than Jamaica... Could be the agent as well. We're all in the unlucky pile.

If that's the case I have both things going against me. We'll see what happens next week
