January 28, 2019 - sent application to Sydney
February 4 - AOR1 from Sydney
April 17 - Biometrics and Medical done
October 4 - Transfer to LVO done and AOR2
November 23 - ADR (photos of Rukhsati, passport stamps, updated communication and certified translation of Urdu nikkahnama)
November 26 - Submitted the requested documents online through GCKey.
Inquiry done in end of January 2020 with MP said that the documents we had sent have been looked at already and had the ADR not been requested by IRCC, my wife’s case decision would have been made approximately February 6th.
Remedical Request on February 19, 2020.
Inquiry done on February 19 with MP found out that they are still needing to do background and security check and have requested remedical because it is likely that the processing will not be able to be finished by the expiry of the first medical and they don’t want to cause a rush at the end. I’m hoping it doesn’t take till April obviously since we are newly married in October 2018 so we want to finally be together.
Pre-Arrival letter received today on February 20 and are now just awaiting my wife to get to make the medical appointment and see how long it takes to get decision hopefully soon after IRCC gets the medical results.
My dad and his coworkers have a strong belief that they asked for this medical months before it’s expiry in April because they are checking for Coronavirus before telling her to bring her passport which makes sense to me.
