I

My wife's application timeline shows 56 days remaining, yesterday we reached out to our MP to get some information. Hopefully he gets us an answer. For many people it goes to twelve months, they just assume no problems because there is no communication and then boom they are hit with an interview. Some people have been waiting 6 months after transfer to Trinidad for an interview date alone. This really needs to be fixed. Hopefully our MP is able to get us some answers.

@patvicto How long did the MP take to respond to you request for information? What sort of timeline should I be expecting?

Well i can't speak for all MP , but mine in Arthabaska Quebec took an hour to get the info from IRCC and email me back with infos then he referred me to provincial cause the only thing Mexico requested was CSQ and it took 2 days to get info on CSQ and all. so overall 3 days and i kind of knew what to expect and what was the last step.

Oh wow, Hopefully we get some information soon. If it goes over 12 months Mexico VO can expect an email from me everyday. I am in Calgary, so we will see how long he takes. But they responded to me within in hour to fill out an application for information, which I filled out right away.

i'm just crossing the one year today... but i know i will pass at CSQ (Quebec PR) in around 2 weeks.. so that's why we are kept on hold by Mexico.. there's not issue in the application at all.

I just got my second update today from my MP and this wait is horrible. I'm a January 7, 2019 applicant. Everything is completed including the background but they only have eligibility left on our application. First bring it forward date was January 31, 2020 and now our bring it forward date is March 31, 2020. It seems ridiculous to keep putting this off for just to do eligibility of the principal applicant. My MP simply said my application looks great and that it is simply just because Mexico is so backed up. So it looks like I'm looking at least 15 months for mine and that is with an application with no issues or no mention of an interview.

To me that hides something... in 2 months again ? with just Eligibilty to do ?? then what they do for 12 months ha ??!? BGC doesn't take 12 months to do sorry but..

Why are they waiting to do that one in last if it's what decide everything ?!? They would sooo filter a bunch with just this. by doing earlier.

For just this last point ? naaa, i won't believe that

When expire your medical ?

I don't understand either. The eligibility they can process based on my evidence I sent to show our relationship. She assured me that was all that is left. My medical expires March 29, 2020. It sounds really stupid to me as well. I really do not understand the bring forward dates if they are not waiting for documents. But Ecuador seems to be easy when getting documents. Everything is easily obtainable online.

I have two children living there also so at this point even if they are approved we will have to wait until end of June. It is best to let them finish their school year there at this point. We never expected this to take 15+ months. I feel very bad for those that are 18-19 months.

Yes exactly. And they use USD currency there so the medical exams are close to $700 Canadian

Ugh when i say it's more a business than a service to population.. i think that's clear. it's all arranged between physicians and IRCC... sometimes i think they do on purpose to make it longer for economics purpose. It's not their money.. so they don't really care if we pay some fees in extra and it makes those physicians a "bonus" with their salary. The machine is happy.. but the client isn't.

i did send them a Proof that CSQ was requested the (AOR letter) as they said it was needed and then the official document needs to be there as soon as i get it.

Please submit the CSQ within 60 days. Please be aware that you should submit a proof that you have already requested it within 30 days.

Failure to submit them within that time period could result in the refusal of your application.

Thank you Patvicto, and yes I also sent that proof (CSQ Requested) once Quebec post the date range where you are included in our case they sent the CSQ within a week by regular mail. You'll get it soon now is moving fast. Greetings

Hi Kera,

What I know is your CSQ was already forwarded to Mexico, you should have receive 2-3 copies I think one of them goes directly to Mexico to notify them and then is just waiting time again for passport request knowing our case, I would prefer you send them an email just to make sure.

Keep me update it with yours we in the same boat.

Wishing is over soon

Thank you Mariana948 and yes I sent them a copy of the CSQ about 2 weeks ago and no news for now. I will let you know as soon as I hear something.
