Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2018

Hi, I am in New Delhi. My PR was approved in under PGP in 2018. I was informed that the processing of my application started on 17 September 2018. I did my medical tests also in September 2019 and it was confirmed that they have been received. In May 2019, I received a message that the decision has been made and I was asked to submit my passport for PR but a couple of days after I submitted the passport in the Canadian High Commission I was informed that the message was sent to me due to some error and that my status is still "In Process". Any idea as to how much time does it normally take or does any one have information on 2018 applicants getting PR in this category from New Delhi.

Your immigration medical examination result has been received and in order to complete the assessment additional information is required.

Please print out a copy of this message and present it to the panel physician who did your initial immigration medical examination. In exceptional situations where you cannot return to the clinic where you did your initial IME, you may utilize the services of another panel physician used for Canadian immigration examinations in any city or country (http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx). Exceptional circumstances include: moving to a new location, the original panel physician is no longer available, traveling to the original location is difficult at this time.

If you do decide to go to a different panel physician for additional information you will need to present them with this letter as it contains important information that the Panel Physician will need to access your initial Immigration Medical Examination (IME). Please do not redo a new IME.

You have 60 days from the date of this letter to comply with this request. We always recommend that you contact the clinic prior to your visit to confirm their operating hours and any specific requirements for this follow-up.

Does anyone know how much time its taking to get an update from IRCC after DM has been made on Principal Applicant. ?

My parents file shows DM in early Feb 2020, I am a 2018 PGP but got my AOR in Jan 2019. Still waiting for an update.
Though after calling CIC they said everything is approved and looks positive on file notes.

I dont know whcih VO your file processing. but check here DM to PPR timeline for each VO.

@ssingh5 I contacted the LV office and they advised, due to work load it will take up to 7 /10 days before they can issue the PPR. So let’s hope for the best.

The only thing showing on myonline portal is You Passed the medical on October 2019. After that they asked PCC AND Couple of documents and changed it to Decision Made on Feb 2020.

still waiting to hear. Though CIC customer care telling everything positive and looks approved.

The PR visa is valid until exactly one year from the date of IME passed. For example if IME was passed in Oct 2019, visa will ve vaild until Oct 2020
