Well, when i check my application status and there is written that your application is in progress we will send you a message when we start to review your application and one of my friend also applied for extension on 1 October and he get a notification that we are reviewing of your eligibility. But I didn’t get any kind of message like that and one thing more when my application transferred to Edmonton office then i called to Ircc and they told me that we are processing 6th of oct applications and I applied on 20th oct so they didn’t reach there.

I have seen Irccc saying processing applications from Oct 1st but people who applied on Oct 10th were already receiving extension. I would say apply for GCMS to find out the reasom for transfer.

I had called irccc agent and agent told me my file was transferred for additional verification. But when then i received gcms which has reason mentioned as workload redistribution.

Applied on Aug 5. Transferred from Edmonton to etobicoke on Nov 27th. No update yet.

Oh long wait , IRCC so unfair nowadays , they do not care what will happen to person's future applications .

No the file that is under quality assurance that usually takes 9 months , me in same situation waiting for extension from 24 sept 2019. They are saying its random selection but now I know its not random . Did you missed some information in your application or information not similar to previous application , are you studied in private college , any gap in studies or taking longer time to finish your study .In my case all these things , so to verify everything and further investigate things they put my file under so called unfair process 'quality assurance'.

Are you studying ? or done with studies ?

They sent me email on 28 jan that your application transferred to Edmonton office for review but my application status is “your application is in process we will send you message when we start to review your application so they didn’t review my application yet and I don’t know why they sent my application to Edmonton without review my application.

I think their is no way to get application before April 2020 .I have not seen any one whose application stuck in quality assurance like us and they got decision less than 8-9 months.I think we have to wait .

Sure, I will share my experience. Have you also applied for pgwp. If yes when did you apply? And have you heard about anyone who got there pgwp from Emerson because Except myself I have never heard anyone going there. I just checked there reviews at google maps and they were like not very good.

May I ask that did you get approved?

I didn't take a break whatsoever. Can you please let me know whenever you get a response? So that I could estimate the processing time for my application as well.
I'm just stressing a lot lately because of all this.

In Review of eligibility '' we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements '' this sentence showing from 24 september 2019 that day when I submitted application , I have a screen shot from this date along with time just after submission of application , immediately after submission of application in this step I got this . I read some where in this forum that this step usually starts with another sentence .I feel like the applications that have some inconsistent information as compare to previous submitted application , showing gap in studies or may be some other reasons , after submission of application their IRCC computer ( they are using some kind of software to make selections) immediately flagged those applications and putting them under quality assurance for further verification .

In Bio metrics , it still showing '' we do not need your finger prints . we will send you a message if this changes'' but on Feb 10 , 2020 , I gave bio metrics for PGWP application and because of same UCI number , bio metrics already updated on study permit extension application as well , that is showing just under the section where our application number and UCI number present .

Guys, do not rely on what status it is showing on your online profile. Either order GCMS or call irccc to ask the reason for transfer. GCMS notes will guve you exact information on what is happening with your application.

If file is transferred the expect a delay of atleast 4 months.

ya I ordered today , I do not know when these will come .I think upto 4 months IRCC keeping these types of files and then for further investigation after 4 months they are transferring file to local office .For first four months I received automated email that says '' we are still working on your application'' but for this month (Feb ) I did not receive this email.

But that long to get reviewed is strange.
Usually applications are reviewed and processed quicker.
