I’m at the point where I’m going to email every 3-4 days. I didn’t bother them for 12 months. Now that it’s beyond 12 months and more I need answers!!!

I will bother them too after the 12 months. At least give us a clue ! Like .. sorry to hear that , we are on wait of Quebec to be processed for now , it shouldn't be that long. Idk something! We are human, i think we have the right to know WHY it's overpassing the year! (Adding to the fact that NOTHING has been asked since... Medical in April 2019)

Application was received on April 15, 2019

Medical instruction sent on June 3, 2019

Medical passed on June 24, 2019

started processing application on October 28, 2019.

AOR1 received on January 28, 2020

AOR2 received on Feb 06, 2020

How did you receive AOR2?
We were told that my application had transferred to Meixco VO and my Ecas status shows on 2nd line that they started to process my application.

Now I wonder if that second line was AOR2 or it has to be a letter sent separately..

not everyone receive the aor2 letter it seems... it's really confused there in Mexico

Yes true. I am aware of it but since he/she mentioned AOR2 I wondered in what form was it delievered.

What we sould insist is the fact that NOTHING IS BEEN SAID ! For months and months, what's the point to have a representative (even in most cases is the sponsor itself) is they aren't to do any kind of communication ?

With the technologies we have available in 2020 , you won't tell me that's besides post dated Notes (takes 30 days and more... ATIP) is the only way to get to know a lil...

What's the point of the Monthly update on Gckey interface ? this thing never worked !

I know agents and officer have a lot of work and i understand this, but can't believe in an advanced society as Canada we can't solve this year after year. More apps are going over the 12 months each time , and seems like nothing is done to make the process better.

Not telling us a thing seems the only way they have found to shorten the delay haha, real joke.

I received on Oct.28 started processing on ecas.
Then on Dec.12 We sent correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application.
No correspondence was sent; just this update on ecas. I believe this was AOR2.

still no changes on ECAS in my case (word game..)... November19th started processing.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on February 19, 2019.
2. We started processing your application on November 19, 2019.

then the medical messages

I'm now at 7 days from the year mark... 98% complete


I'm pretty sure it's gonna go over cause of Quebec *sigh* ...

The Department is currently processing applications received up to:

- September 24, 2019 for a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child;

Mine been received there on October 31 and AOR from MIDI on November18, the question is which is the date of reference ?

1) When they received it by mail (October 31th)
2) the AOR letter.... (November 18th , would means even longer...)

but again they won't say a thing... just sending a letter at some point to have to redo medical cause it's expired or gonna be soon ... (Expiration : April 24th...) there's really no follow up in this process.

Still gonna email Mexico at the 12 months mark and ask , i'm pretty sure it's all linked to Quebec delay but i want confirmation.

Well I wouldn't say it's all about the Quebec delay. There are plenty of us from 2018 that aren't from Quebec that are just....waiting. It's ridiculous.

This is correct sometimes Mexico do not send AOR2. We did receive one a months or 2 after ECAS was update to we started to process your application. It was sent by email. Hope this answers your question.

Well I wouldn't say it's all about the Quebec delay. There are plenty of us from 2018 that aren't from Quebec that are just....waiting. It's ridiculous.

Im not a Quebec applicant and I've been waiting for 14 months. I don't understand why there is a delay with applicants from other provinces.

The time of responses from foreign countries, i could give them, but there's limits, itt's def NOT a global excuse for all this. And i would that Idf our app is not really started on final phase after a year and still on wait.. we DEF have a problem houston!
