Oh and one other thing, do you think I should leave our son (will be 8 months old then) with his grandma in Ocho Rios or bring him to the interview in Kingston with us? Thanks for any and all input!
Thanks for the congrats everyone, would like to say I'm excited but just more nervous. I will be flying down with our son for the interview. Question about those who got letter for interview - do they always request passport and pictures? And it's just the applicant that needs to bring passport right?

What is your timeline? That seems a bit backwards to be honest. Why did you use a lawyer? It's a bit harder to see whats going on with your application when you have one.Hello everyone
so my Lawyer call my husband yesterday and told him that IRCC is requesting his birth certificate and some time last week they had requested the payment of $490 for permanent Residence Landing Fee. I still have not done medical or biometric as yet. Does anyone know if those will be the next step?

I'm not sure if I've ever heard of anyone asking for a landing fee before Bio and Meds... Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but some things off
My husband was asked only for pics and passport. They then bombarded him with other questions regarding my previous husband. We never got any type of pfl during our process amd ended up being refused after the interview. This was our experience. Thanks for the congrats everyone, would like to say I'm excited but just more nervous. I will be flying down with our son for the interview. Ok. I would have though you'd have to do Bio and Meds by now. Unless the process was different in July. I don't know enough about your situation to advise further. But you should be fine.....Have you looked on ECAS at least to see what stage you were at?That’s what I thought also but I ask my lawyer and she told me it was completely normal. I am a July 2019 applicant
Yes...you have to click on that link and it will give you more details. That or ask you lawyer to send you a screenshot of you GCKey updates since you most likely don't have access. It’s saying processing

Twas indeed a stressful one.
I'm also a july applicant. July 08th my husband finished his bio and medical in October. I payed everything upfront. So I find that pretty weird?Hello everyone
