It's a possibility, yes. That’s why I’m stressed out. They haven’t asked for a medical yet. Does that mean they’re refusing the visa. Which is why they may have sent a correspondence letter? I’m so confused.

Is it possible to get a medical request after receiving a correspondence letter or is CL the last step. It's a possibility, yes.
Anything is possible, people do get PPR and next day rejection letter as well or medical request and PPR at the same time. There are hundreds of case like that in this forum. So, I would stay positive still. Is it possible to get a medical request after receiving a correspondence letter or is CL the last step.
Sorry for the delayed reply dear, I was asked general stuff about my educational plan, future plans and basically whatever I have mentioned in the Statement of Purpose. My advice is to know your subject and goals, stay candid and calm, it's just like a normal conversationHey syedzeeshanhaider what did the visa officer asked you during the interview and what were your answers. Can u please let us know. Maybe we can benefit out of this situation. Thank you
Visa got refused. Reason stated. 1, family ties in Canada and country of residence. What should i do ? I am sorry to hear, I need to know more about your self, your Profile, family history, family members any relatives in CanadaVisa got refused. Reason stated. 1, family ties in Canada and country of residence. What should i do ? What do they mean by family ties
I graduated from high school in jordan in 2018 and after that i had taken a gap due to personal reasons which I mentioned in my SOP. My academic profile is great no issues with that. I have a 7 in IELTS with 7.5 in all bands except writing was a 6. I moved from Pakistan to Jordan in 2013, lived there for 7 years, and to Nigeria in 2019 where I currently am. I had applied on jan 08, biometrics on jan 16, correspondence and rejection letter received today. No issues with my documents. I guess what’s bugging me is that i have two aunts from my extended family (both are siblings) both Canadian citizens whom I didn’t mention about in my application. Maybe that’s what they meant by family ties in Canada. Although they live in a completely different city from where i am supposed to travel to. Should I mention them in my reapplication and state that i have no intention to stay with them nor will they be sponsoring my education ? I don’t know how having family in Canada could be a reason of refusal but i guess they assumed I’ll over stay with them.I am sorry to hear, I need to know more about your self, your Profile, family history, family members any relatives in Canada
VO only have concerns with ties. You are only obligated to mention relatives if they are your parents, grand parents, siblings and children. You do not need to mention your aunt at all. What is your status in Nigeria and what was your status in Jordan from 2013 to 2019. You are living outside of Pakistan since 2013 which shows your weak ties to Pakistan. Therefore, your ties to Canada becomes stronger. What did you show ties to backhome? Do you or your parents have any property in Pakistan? Your profile is strong I would recommend to go Pakistan and apply from there.I graduated from high school in jordan in 2018 and after that i had taken a gap due to personal reasons which I mentioned in my SOP. 1. YesHi,
I have been accepted for summer 2020 with guaranteed funding by university to cover my tuition fee for 2y Masters program. I have a few questions:
Looking forward to know your experience.
- Can I apply in SDS by showing my guaranteed funding as a proof of tuition fee payment? How do students apply for SDS who get funding by university?
- If answer to above question is NO, I would like to know how long would the simple route take and what are the chances for approval with guaranteed funding? I have around $10k CAD, no property or assets.
- For GIC, can I use PayPal/Payoneer or virtual bank accounts to send the funds? — I am from Pakistan.
- For above question, if the answer is NO, what are the alternative routes for me? Which banks work best and if they allow payment from above mentioned sources with min. charges?
Thanks
I’ve shown all our property documents that we have in Pakistan. I was a temporary resident in Jordan, as i was studying there... my father was working there at the time so we moved from Pakistan to jordan. His job then moved to Nigeria and right now I’m here with a visitor visa since i was planning to leave if i got my visa. I honestly agree with you... i feel like I should go back and apply through SDS. their reason doesn’t make any sense.VO only have concerns with ties. Thank you for your response @alijumani. It means a lot, I had been looking around for a while and was worried that I might still have to pay the fee. It's a relief. One more question, the offer letter says only the amount that they'll give. Do I need to give links to the official university site and mention that through this funding, I'll be able to cover my fee (in my application)?1. Yes
2. it doesn't increase or decrease chances at all however, it shows that at least your tuition is taken care off.
3. No, it must be either your own account or your parents account.
4. Meezan and habib Metro are aware with procedure I guess. Double check with your local area banks.
I did. I even mentioned a property we have near AKU hospital as it helps me be in vicinity for future patients.my major is neuroscience and the main reason i was applying abroad is because the course is not taught in Pakistan. I think I should go back to pak and apply... would they still raise an issue about ‘ties’ after that since I’ll technically be in PakistanHonestly, It is really hard to get visa if you are not in your home country. talk more about your plans after studies that you will come back to Pakistan etc.
