Hello

I'm Indian and applied for a Canada student visa (paper application), from Sri Lanka, as I'm married to Sri Lankan citizen. I applied for visa 22nd Jan 2020, on 31st my medical was passed and after that no updates. I hold an Indian passport. Is there anyone with a similar situation? Any help how long will the process take? I'm really confused, because for two weeks only medical passed, no updates even on biometric aswell. And I have even studied in England.

Is my process gonna take more than other applicants from Sri Lanka?

Thanks

Study Permit processing time for Indian Applications is about 3 Weeks (Gets Updated every week) (After Biometrics are submitted)
Study Permit processing time for Sri Lankan Applications is about 3 Weeks (Gets Updated every week) (After Biometrics are submitted)

Information from :-https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html

You need to wait until biometrics are submitted + 3 Weeks approximately (highly variable time period)

Cheers

After your application is complete (Biometrics+Medical etc), count 3 weeks after the date when every requirement was submitted. That will be your expected date of decision.

Cheers
