Yes , it’s so frustrating, we are gonna try email Trinidad for an extension see if anything happened because March is only a month away.

I can tell you right now they won’t answer you about extensions of medicals . My husband had his interview December 2 and medicals were expiring Jan 17. I asked in the interview if they would be extended she flat out said no that we had more than enough time lol
Needless to say he made it to Canada with 1 day to spare . You can try but don’t hold your breath

Just wanted to share a small FYI to all you fantastic people getting medical requests that Trinidad carnival is coming up at the end of February (feb 24 and 25) but the major parties are happening the week before. And some have actually started . What does this means ? Sold out flights and accommodations, and jacked up prices for flights and the accommodations you can find .

If you find something GREAT but just a word of caution for individuals planning medicals in Trinidad at the end of the month !

Yes but what can we do? We have 30 days to do medical by the time i arrange the flight and get an appointment from dr office will be closer to end of february..

CSQ Received.!!! After 5 months. I received the Certificat de Selection du Quebec and I would like to kindly ask if anybody can tell me if the CSQ must be sent by Regular Mail to The VO in my case Mexico or it all I have to do is Scan the CSQ letter and send it by e-mail provided by Immigration Canada.? Thank you for coments and for those who are still waiting for the CSQ hang in there, is coming.

Thank you Patvicto, I appreciate your response, and if I'm not mistaken you are also wainting for your CSQ and as you may know MIDI is now processing applications up to September 16.Also I have seen posts here where IRCC ask for the CSQ to be sent by the sponsor/applicant, so that is why I'm not sure...

yeah.... i'm end of October case one for CSQ...for the sponsor sending.... i didnt know that at all, guess gonna look at when the paper will come as it's not for now.

I guess in around a month based on what i see so far.

So the date they say is... they are delivering ppl up tp September 16th right??

Yes, actually processing, this is what they say: The Department is currently processing applications received up to: September 16, 2019 for a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child;

but once you are withing that processing date, it takes about a week, in my case anyways. They are now changing the processing date very fast, last year it stayed processing up to July 8 for two months never moving even a day. Best wishes.!!!

Well the pressure is probably more present as tons of ppl will go over the year in Quebec and most cause the CSQ is not done. Is good to know cause i had in mind we had to get through the . we are at... X Date... and THEN it was another 10-12 weeks. of waiting ...

Oh wow! well we tried our MP and he said once the medical was passed an there isn’t any sickness they won’t sent us to redo but if it had shown that it wasn’t passed then I would’ve had to redo it all over again.... so that’s a relief idc if it expires or not still gonna wait for our interview date from them

Cual es tu linea de tiempo?? En la pagina de vfs salen las tarifas y los requisitos que debes llevar.

Hi, I've been thinking about contacting my MP as well. Feb 13 will be exactly 3 months overdue for us. Do you know of anyone who's had success getting information about their file from their MP? I'm in Calgary.. Our application is is Mexico

I contacted my MP. The next day they were able to tell me that my background was completed even though there is no updates on gckey. They told us there was no mention of an interview and they told us the bring forward date. It did not get our application processed faster but I was able to get a much needed update.

Is there xrays or blood test or urine test involved or just questions?

We had to get pictures taken first. Then second the doctor did a physical exam. Third we went for x-rays and then last we had blood done. There was 3 of us doing the exams and we had to go to 2 different buildings and it was a little over an hour
