I got my SA letter yesterday, which just stated that I'm approved as a sponsor + that my file is transferred to London office. Sponsored parents live in Pakistan - is it common for the VO to be London? Any insight on whether the London office is quick or slow in general with the PGP applications?

Thanks!
London is the LVO for all Pakistani nationals. Be ready for a long waiting.

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and have some questions. I got below email yesterday, but I am not sure if there is any action needed from my side. Can anyone please let me know what should I do next? Thanks.

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative will be processed at CPC-Mississauga. This office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding the
Application for Permanent Residence for your relative, you may find contact information for that visa office at www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp.

If you received this communication via email, please note that another copy will not be mailed to you.

Provincial Requirements for Residents of Quebec

If you are a resident of the province of Québec, you must submit an undertaking application to the Provincial Government. To download the required forms, please consult the Ministère de l'immigration, de la diversité et de l'inclusion (MIDI) website at www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca (Sponsors and Sponsored Persons section). Complete the required forms and promptly submit them to the MIDI at the
address provided in the provincial guide. Do not submit any of the MIDI forms to this office as they will only be returned to you.

You must enclose a copy of this correspondence with your undertaking application to MIDI. If you
received this communication via email, you may print a copy to be enclosed with your undertaking
application to MIDI.

For further information regarding provincial requirements, please contact the Province of Québec General Inquiries Services at 514-864-9191 or 1-877-864-9191.

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
If the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is applicable to your application and you have chosen to defer payment of that fee, you can make your payment at any time by following this link:

renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx. A permanent Resident Visa cannot be issued to your relative until this payment is submitted.

yet to submit biometrics, they should do so immediately. Biometrics requirements can be found on our website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp

How long would it take to receive final landing appointment from local CIC office? My parents has received confirmation for PR however I am still waiting to received email from local office about final landing. CIC agent mentioned to that once you request, it would take upto 4 to 6 weeks. Do they really take upto 6 weeks time just to send us final invitation for landing?

thank you for your input in advance!
