Oh, I thought I read that it's 2 different applications. It's all one app.
Yes. You would either land as a PR if the app is done or come as a visitor if it is still in process.

Extremely strict. Common-law is a legal marital status. You need 365 days of continuous cohabitation. There are many ways to prove it. I suggest you look at the checklist to see what proofs are needed.Thank you
Also, do you know how strict the 1 year living together requirement is?
She has been here over a year but we live with my parents and we don't have a shared bank account. Is there another way to prove it?
Thanks
At the time you submit the application, you must provide proof of common law status and that proof must show you have cohabitated together for a full year. You can't send it later.Okay, I've just looked into the bank statements, we can see she opened the bank account in March, so come March we can prove that she's had a bank open at the same address as for me 1 year.
Are we best waiting until March to start the application or do we not need to send that information right away?
Does she not have any other address proofs from when she actually started living there?Okay, I've just looked into the bank statements, we can see she opened the bank account in March, so come March we can prove that she's had a bank open at the same address as for me 1 year.

I've attached a screenshot of the check-list and it states that we need to pick 2 of the following sets, but we have no proof of the first 5. as we have none of those things.Does she not have any other address proofs from when she actually started living there?
You can get a notarized statement from your parents confirming your cohabitation in place of a lease. Do you pay anything to them?I've attached a screenshot of the check-list and it states that we need to pick 2 of the following sets, but we have no proof of the first 5. as we have none of those things.
The only things we have are her resistance card, and when she was doing her Visa she put down my address on there for where she would be living and she also her national insurance card which she got when she first came here, that's also at this address (This is effectively social insurance)
There's also a phone contract in my name, which she has been paying from her bank account which is in her name and this address.
So all we have is the bank account from March 2019 and the payments to the phone account from March 2019.
Things before March 2019 are the resistance card and national insurance card.
We can wait till March to apply but that's 2 things (bank and phone) from the 6th set, we still have nothing from the first 5.

My parents will 100% do that for us, I pay my Dad, £250 a month and have done for years but she doesn't pay anything. I sometimes pay cash and sometimes bank transfer. You can get a notarized statement from your parents confirming your cohabitation in place of a lease. Do you pay anything to them?
Did she not get any mail or have anything with that address in the first 5 months? No payslips, medical/dental letters, amazon deliveries, school letters, letters from home, gym memberships etc.?
You need to sit down and really look through what is stated in the checklist and guide. The letter from your parents, with confirmation of cohabitation and rent info, will count in place of a lease. The government issued documents, her residence card, visa, national insurance card, count. I'm sure you have similar documents. The address proofs are another one.My parents will 100% do that for us, I pay my Dad, £250 a month and have done for years but she doesn't pay anything. Also, for the first 5 months, I am 100% sure that there's things we can find, we can get payslips for sure and the odd amazon delivery. But if we can only get 1 thing from each month, for example an amazon delivery in Jan and then some payslips for the rest of the 4 months will that still count as we can't give anything for the other 5 sets?

Yes,the letter from your parents will substitute for the rental agreement. Ensure it states clearly about the rental agreement in place.Okay, got it.
I think we have 3 then.
I can get my parents to do the letter and confirm we have lived here for the right amount of time.
Here residence card is linked to this address.
We have many amazon things and payslips which can be used.
Also, I am right in saying that the letter from my parents covers the "rental agreement" box?
Thank you for all your help.
I will make sure of it.Yes,the letter from your parents will substitute for the rental agreement. Ensure it states clearly about the rental agreement in place.
No. They can say that you pay for both you and your partner.I will make sure of it.
Does it matter that it's only me that's been paying it and sometimes in cash and sometimes transfer?
Does the amount matter?
