LoL, I know, it is tricky and the worst is waiting and wondering if everything is okay after you send your application to them.God, no wonder so many people ask this sort of stuff. They don't make it easy
You don't by chance know what to do on the question about the past 10 years employment? On my original paper app I just wrote more stuff on a separate piece of paper, but since this is an online only form...there's no extra space.LoL, I know, it is tricky and the worst is waiting and wondering if everything is okay after you send your application to them.

For an open work permit, yes.Thank you for the answer. So even for extensions is apply for a work permit for the first time or a new employer?
Thank you for your help. I filled out everything, but now I am not sure on which address to send it. It's confusing. Should I send it on address for extensions or on address for spouse or common law partner work permits? For an open work permit, yes.

Hi,Hi all,
Posting again as it's hard to find answers. So many webforms and forum posts and none of them are quite relevant to me. Here's the facts.
I am the principal applicant of a spousal application. I have a current Open Work Permit, but it expires in May as it is tied to my old passport - I wasn't issued it to the full validity (2 years)
I received a new passport yesterday, and would now like to file for an extension of this OWP (so I get the full validity, not the shortened one due to old passport.)
How do I do this? There's a questionnaire online that supposedly links to the app, but it's asking for my medical? I didn't have to have a medical when I got the OWP in the first place. I do have a medical, but it's held up right now as I need further tests.
The questionnaire also asks if I'm going to be living in Canada permanently or temporarily. Well...the answer is both? I'm a PR applicant, but applying for an OWP extension...so temporarily?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi,
Did you receive your OWP extension ?? I also need to apply for my OWP extension next week and would need some help in terms of document checklist?
I did, got it in the nick of time too. I might be able to answer your questions, though it's been a while nowHi,
