March - 2019 Citizenship Applications

Hi, I am from Kamloops, BC. Me and my wife we applied for our citizenship on March 2019. Timeline is like bellow -

1. Aplication received March 29, 2019
2. Acknowledging receipt sent June 11
3. Processing started July 18

Till then no news nothing. Here in this forum i can see almost everybody is done with their test and oath. Feeling very frustrate. I called to cic around first week of January and the agent told me that background verification and everything is done, the only thing left is sending us the test date.

All of my friends citizenship is done who aplied around that time frame. Though they applied from Vancouver, Abbotsford area.

Does anyone has any idea why is this late? It seems like our processing wont be finished in 12 months period.

which number you called , My application also received on late March , my FP test also done. But no test date yet.

Hey, i did my fingerprints in July and got an invitation to write test just 5 mins ago. Don’t panic, it’s on the way

Basically, your record of landing, PR card, proof of English language proficiency and any other thing you might have included.

Same here. In process since July 22. My processing office is processing applications received in January 2019 so maybe couple of months more before I hear anything.

My file went to decision made and have my citizenship ceremony tomorrow!

It's a slow process but be patient and study the guidebook and you guys will be fine!!!!
