I am ihsan from Pakistan and i ll 22 years old in the coming May.I have got married with a 45 years old Canadian citizen who has converted her religion from Christianity to Islam.
We got married a couple of days back in Pakistan bcoz she came here for getting married with me.
Please tell me it will be easy to get the spousal visa for Canada.
My wife was working for a community from the past 12 years now she has got a job in Edmonton. She is a tax payer .she got divorced almost 10years back.
Please guide us .
We are little bit concerned about age difference.

Did you do full cultural marriage?
How long did the relationship exist before you got married?
The age difference and religion conversion will be red flags.

And you may want to clarify that you just asked last month if your wife is eligible for a work permit ??

Yes .we conducted marriage according to the culture of Pakistan. The marriage ceremony was conducted in A marriage hall and I have all the proofs. Before our marriage we were talking with each other on messages, audio and video calls through WhatsApp and messenger from 7months.I have all the records of conversations that took place between me and my wife.
Will u elaborate that what's the meaning of red flag?

Your age difference will be a huge red flag for CIC. It is very uncommon for a woman to be over 20 years older in general but especially in Pakistan.

If you are still married to this 'wife' who may need a work permit, then your new marriage to this Canadian isn't recongized in Canada.
You can only be married to one person. And you need to be legally divorced to be married again.

If you did get divorce to the 'wife' who may need a work permit, and got married to a Canadian soon after, then that's yet another red flag.

I'll echo all the questions about your other wife.

But also - did you meet in person before she converted and married you? Or did you talk entirely online and then when she came to marry you was the first time you met her?

Why do you have other posts about a wife who wants a work permit?

Marriage on the first visit, online relationship with no time together in person, massive age difference, marrying a much older and divorced woman in a culture where that is extremely outside of the norm. Those are all huge red flags of a Marriage of Convenience that you are unlikely to be able to overcome.

What can we do now?any suggestions please
My wife is doing a good job in Canada and she is a tax payer .
We have all the proofs to prove our marriage is genuine. Moreover, she has changed her religion .

I can suggest that your wife should visit you again in Pakistan a few times before you apply for sponsorship. Also your proof should be exhaustive in the application, because as everybody has already suggested, refusal on the grounds of marriage of convenience is a strong possibility

I totally agree with you.we ll attach all the proofs when she ll apply for my sponsorship.
Once she will apply for me she will again come to Pakistan for staying with me and may be she ll be staying here for couple of months .
Just tell me ,if we ll be providing all the proofs then why cic will not allow us to live together.
