Nagapply ako nung nasa pinas pa ako then nagapply ng work permit kaya ngaun working na dito s PEI since august, family ko nasa pinas pa dko sila sinama s pagaapply ng WP kc mas ok na mauna n ako s kanila para ayos na pagdating nila dito like matitirhan etc at para hindi doble doble ang babayaran ba..thnks

Nagrereply naman ang MVO. Sa experience namin, it took 1-3 days from us emailing them to getting a reply.
Also, since nasa Canada na kayo, have you tried calling IRCC?
Be specific lang when you call, i.e. ask whether you have cleared background check, eligibility, security / if red flags have been noted on your account / if everything’s done and your file’s only waiting for a decision. Six months na rin naman file niyo, pwede niyo na itawag yan.

Not yet flying out but we got a quote from St. Raphael Travel and Tours. It’s a Pinoy owned company setup in Vancouver. They’ll send you fares for PAL, EVA and Air Canada.
If you make your inquiry more specific and ask for terms/conditions re: fares, they’ tell you when fares get more expensive and when they aren’t.

You’re on the right track. Many consultants will actually advise against that unless you’re nearing your arrival in Canada. The perspective being that people posting job ads are most likely looking to fill a current vacancy unless otherwise stated. And with the relative uncertainty of approval timelines, employers will naturally tend to pay attention to candidates already in Canada. That plus the fact that they’ll have to apply for LMIA in case you haven’t been approved yet for PR.
However, what you can do is begin connecting with other professionals in your field and located in the province you wish to settle in.
Do note though that blogger Kulas Angeles posted about how he got a job 3 days before arriving in Canada, so it’s not totally impossible.

Nagpipigil pa kami ng partner ko na magsend ng webform dahil mag-4 months pa lang laman after AOR.
Pero gusto na rin sana namin mag-webform just to check on our status.

If by chance po nakahanap ng employer sa Canada tas po yun yung naging last needed points to get invited po pwede na ba po kaya mag apply for open working permit or temporary working permit ka pa lang po eligible nun?
Like if nasendan ka na ng invite then sort of pagsasabay yung application for working permit and PR.

Errr hindi ba pasok offer mo sa LMIA criteria para PR ka na magapply agad? The only way you can get points for a job offer is if it qualifies for LMIA.
Sorry po ok lang ba po paelaborate? Kasi po ang understanding ko po is basta may positive LMIA si employer valid po siya for express entry and need naman siya anyway for work permit. Ang iniisip ko lang din po kasi is if at least magwork na sa Canada under temporaey work permit while processing ot will be processed pa yung PR or should be PR application muna then apply for open work permit?

This is getting complicated. The idea is just simplifying the application to only apply for one. But it seems like you have an idea of how this works both ways. Just keep it simple.
