Hi everyone.
I have a question. I have 4 duties mentioned on my employment letter and all 4 match the NOC code. But NOC code has total number of 7 duties given. So basically only 4 out of 7 duties match. Can it be a problem?
The more duties you have mentioned on your Letter the better.....See if you can get a revised letter....4 is too less I think

Hello Everyone,

I apologize for the delay in posting this.

My AOR: June 11, 2018
GCMS notes ordered: Apr 29, 2019
Notes received: May 29, 2019. (stating that I have NOC mismatch as the code I entered at ITA and before eAPR are different; Please refer to a slightly detailed version of this in my previous post in this thread if anyone is interested)
Email to IRCC: May 30, 2019. (Sent IRCC an email with URGENT subject line and explaining my situation and asking them to revert my NOC back to the older one at ITA)
CoPR: August 29, 2019.

After 15 months of wait, I finally received the email. I have landed in Ottawa two weeks ago and everything is going as expected.

I would like to thank @NZ_ozzie for giving me advice on being proactive than reactive. I would definitely restate this message as it helped me out after I reached out to them with a letter of explanation about my incorrect NOC code.

GCMS notes is a huge help and I would recommend people apply for this every month after their 3 months of AOR. I would have stayed in the unknown had i not applied for GCMS notes and took steps towards rectifying my issue. Every case is unique and it is on us to provide IRCC with any proof or document necessary to rectify/solve the issue.

Thank you all for the wonderful journey and I would urge everyone to be patient and informed(via GCMS notes) during their wait time.

Thanks,

overnight

Urgent help....Hello please

Can somebody help me please.

I was refused two weeks ago Express Entry CEC Application. I am currently in Canada using my BOWP right now.
The officer said he does not believe i meet the requirement as the leaf statement of the NOC code i chose does not match my NOC code. Please i do not know what to do.

Here are my question:
- Are we allowed to reapply and change NOC code to another that match the job duties?
- Is there any chance they will accept the new application with the new changes to NOC Code?
- Has anyone reapplied before and changed NOC code and was approved, please help me please.
This is looking like the end of a Career / my Life.
Thanks.

Yes you can reapply with a different NOC code.. sorry you had to face this but the NOC code is just a technicality and so long as you get your documentation 100% accurate with your NOC code this time, the previous refusal should have no effect on a new application. Good luck :)

Don't worry. Just start a fresh application. Remember this time that your NOC code should be the one whose duties are matching with the duties mentioned on your work experience letter. And very carefully search for all probable reasons for rejection. This forum has extensive data. Don't get demotivated. It's just a phase. :)

Did your reference letter include the job description that match NOC?

CIC doesnt accept self-written job descriptions and most likely you will be rejected. You should get a new reference letter from employer for that includes job description matching the lead statement of the NOC. You should act ASAP and send it via webform CSE.

If you get rejected, you will have to apply again from scratch!
Can someone explain lead statement with an example. Thanks.

Just search your NOC code or any NOC code. It will start with a brief description of that NOC and then the duties will be mentioned. That brief description is the lead statement
