Hi Dear,
Initially I thought the same. I called IRCC & agent told me it's London UK.
I sent them a webform and they replied last month via email that routine background checks on your file remain on going...

Its 8.5 months now as my AOR is 8th May 2019.
I have ordered GCMS & CBSA notes but asked for 90 days extension.


Don't know anything when will get this and the wait is frustrating.......

No usually GCMS notes will tell you.

I think for CSS (Comprehensive security screening), it is only know via CBSA notes...

WHAT IS MY FILE DOING IN INDIA FOR LAST 6 MONTHS????

Any suggestions what Delhi office might be doing since last 6 months - same status??
Should I contact Delhi office again or what?
Should I apply GCMS (ATIP) notes again or what?
Or leave it upto the Almighty & CIC

You MyCIC status will show "Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" until your COPR is generated, i.e. after your receive PPR.
Based on the status, it seems that your security is under process. But, the details can be seen from your GCMS notes or CBSA notes.

I got a ghost update in my profile on Jan 7th and on Jan 8th I received email for the webform which I raised and the response was like Eligibility is being reviewed and Background, Security and criminality are valid. So, when I spoke to IRCC agent on Jan 10th the lady informed me that Eligibility is met(PASSED). Background, Security and Criminality is passed and I was expecting the PPR email sooner and to my shock rather than surprise I received the message in my EE profile to take medical examination and my medicals are expiring on March 14th 2020. I have taken my re-medicals today i.e., Jan17th …Kindly help me on this thing I mean why now medicals after every stage is passed is my concern now. Exactly 2 months from my Medicals expiry I got the message to take remedicals…

Is it quite often to get remedicals request exactly before 2 months from the medicals expiry date so that to give the time for applicant once they receive PPR or is there any other reason. The only thing which is scribbling my mind is after Eligibility is Met and Background, Security and Criminality is passed why now medicals all of a sudden...Kindly let me know on this thing

I guess sydney is the slowest visa processing office taking more than 200 days.edmonton takes 120-130 days
Can someone tell if they have divided the candidates as inland to edmonton and outland to sydney.
I have this feeling.

Such a nightmare for me...i am so stressed everyday to wait for my PPR....i have no mood to do any social activity and even work hard in my workplace....I just want my PR so I can move on my new life and relief

I understand I need to be claim and be patient. It is easy to say than be done...

I think Sydney office work on outland first and leave CEC way behind or ignore it....maybe the officer will work on one file per week if he feels like to

I am having literally sleepless nights daily...every now and than I am checking the EE profile and the gmail for any updates.

Its so annoying for me when everything is going well by knowing that all the stages are passed on Jan 7th with the GU and got webform response from SYDNEY VO too in meanwhile I got message to take remedicals on Jan 14th... I am so damn confused/amazed/surprised/shocked...what not to say . I am not sure why I got remedicals request when I have time for my medicals to get expired which is on March 14th . The fun factor here is I was thinking to book the flight tickets to be landed before March 14th(Medicals expiry date) I got another remedicals request LOL.....

Its been seriously a very long journey for me, there are many IMP decisions to be taken which is due because of PPR mail.

To add to your point, I guess they are just going with random files instead of first come first serve, not sure actually whats happening in Sydney VO....Also do you have any idea about my remedicals request please if you have idea let me know...I am trying to put this issue in this forum but I am not getting any kind of response to my concern....

PLEASE FRIENDS JUST READ MY CONCERN AND LET ME KNOE YOUR THOUGHTS, I am very much relied on this CANADA VISA FORUMS because it helped me a lot and I am anticipating the same thing.

I have a suggestion for the SENIORS and for the new people in this forum whoever are there... Many of us come here to get any Inputs/suggestions/advices for their PR process and by responding to the messages it really really helps a lot for everyone, it is not necessary experts only should respond to our queries, anyone can respond who has an idea about the query...we have to help each other so that the community gets stronger.

I seriously hate Sydney VO now and I will rate this office 0 stars but so what....it is very unorganized and I think a lot of political/bureaucracy in this office...officer and staff probably just sit back and take their own time and joke about us....they don't need to hold accountability because nobody will judge their work anyway...everyone worked there is citizen already and they never understand the new immigrants, they found a job at government and this is it....even Canada Prime minister can't deal with himself

Anyway...I think there is at least some movement/update of your file which is better than most of us here. Re-medical is a bit surprise because most of the time they will just extend your medical...can you try to call them and let them you know can landed before March 14th so the medical is still valid?

Yeah I agree with you its not organized, the process from AOR to PPR should be very streamlined and organized manner. Not sure how they are working.

I have been calling them since two days and getting response like its under maintenance. Will try again calling them.
