Wife sent out the passport today but still can't link the application online. So only way to know when application is closed is checking if return tracker is activated lol. Any idea what's the turnaround time for CPC Ottawa?

Hi Everyone,

I am sponsoring my wife under Outland Category.

My Application was received at CPC Sydney on 3rd Oct 2019.

AOR1 - 6th Nov 2019 , SA , biometric done ,Medical done, passed and updated in Gckey account.

File transferred to NDVO on 2nd Dec 2019. ECAS status changed to App. Received from In Process soon after and it remains the same since then.

Anyone else waiting for a confirmation of Application Received from NDVO and also the ECAS status of "starting processing" for over a month now ?

I did read through the last few pages of this thread to get the latest and it seems some October transfers to NDVO have seen movement. Anyone from Nov or Dec transfers to NDVO received "in process" status on ECAS after file transfer to NDVO ?

Yes , after transferred file to NDVC my Client status also shows "App received "instead "in processing "

My application to MVO shows received since January 12 but until now I haven't seen the second line on PA side that says they've begun processing. Anyone has the same and is it normal? Any insight will be appreciated

AOR2 when VO received file, they must send letter, but sometime they don`t send (rarely), next letter maybe PPR (really i don`t remember), i wait next news in gckey that background completed

Ok. My file transfered on 19/12 . But not yet aor 2. They asked my sg pcc/coc before tranfer. Couple of day ago i submitted. May be next week some respone i will get.

Fingers cross hopefully this month or February . anyway congratulations for you. how long did it took for your application to finish?

It took around 8 months but apparently we did something wrong and they asked us for two newly filled out forms in october. So technically it was 2.5 months because that is when they started processing.

Yes, they did because the photos are older than 6 months by now. We are supposed to submit them to Vienna though and not Ottawa.

Hi, my husband's application was transferred to CPCM last Dec05. and until now the 2nd line hasn't been changed to processing. One member here said that theirs was not changed until DM/PPR. So let's be patient.

I think that's pretty standard. We were asked to send in new photos with the PPR even though it was less than 3 months after we submitted the original package. We got the new photos back with the CoPR (1 attached, 1 separate) and what I understand is that's the photo that's used for the PR card. I don't know why they don't just use the photos we submit but the government always has a reason even if it doesn't make sense to us I guess.
