When you get the second line added on ECAS on PA side as “we started processing your file”

Yay my husband’s ecas says ”in process”. Finally!!
This LVO needs to start moving faster. Following is the timeline:

AOR : june 19

MR: june 19

BR done: june 24

Medical: july 16

Medical passed: july 23

File transferred to london visa office: Nov29

Dec 9 ecas update: application recieved

Jan 9 ecas updated: in process

Yes the line was added on ECAS on June 22 as ‘medical results have been received’

I meant did they add anything for the PPR or the Prearrival letter?

How long after receiving the file does the local visa office start processing the background check?

Also, any one here with experience at the Nairobi visa office. If so, please share timeline of how long they give AOR 2/process background check.

Does anyone know how long we have to wait for the email once the status got updated on ecas for spouse

When was the date you saw the change?

Saw it on Thursday last week

Wait a few days at least before thinking about it more. Assuming you mean the most recent thursday, that's only one business day so far.

I don't have precise figures - but yes, it's normal for almost any step to take a few or several days.

We are in the exact same boat. Haven’t heard anything or had a passport request, very concerned as we had some delays in documents we needed to send.
