Haven't heard anything post the medical result. Its with NDVO.
Mine was a week earlier. I am also checking daily for any updates. It seems they hold these applications and then process many at a time.same here. i think they sent it in visa office from application received now in process.. Date of application received was Nov 13.
yup ours is with NDVO: Started processing on 22nd Nov...surprising when there is no BC and biometrics they keep the application in a hung state for so long..Hoping something comes out this month at-leastMine was a week earlier. That is why this unnecessary delay. Also December was a slow month.
For a small child there is no Background check or Biometrics. Rest all other information is very clear. Yet they take so much time.
In fact these applications can be easily cleared within a month or two.
Yes, there is an age limit above which biometric is mandatoryThat’s weird.
Our dependent child is 15 and we received an email to pay for biometrics but GCKey still only says application received November 12th.
Yes. We had to get our son's done as well. They ask at the age of 14.That’s weird.

I assume they are separate queues.Does the visa office manage the spousal and children applications separately as the later does not involve BC and biometric...I got to know that some of the spousal applications from May-June are getting ppr's now... Worried that we are not in the same queue...
Starting this thread for 2019 applications and those who will be sponsoring their dependent child in 2020.
Your husband will have to initiate the PR process while kids are in India. After sponsorship approval you can give visit visa a try as it may get rejected.Noone can confirm on timelines. Some inland application have processed faster but some have taken longer too.hi, i am mother of twins born in India in Sept 2019. My husband and I are both PR of Canada and Citizens of India. I am in India since 4 months with my 4 month old twins. My husband is physically present in Canada. i have applied for my children visitor visa to Canada.
1.Can i also apply for their PR from India while me & twins are still in India?
2. Is waiting period less if I take them to Canada on visitor visa and then apply for their PR from within Canada when they are physically present in Canada?
3. Should my husband apply for their PR while twins and I are in India and he is in Canada?
i feel ya! Mine is also Manila Visa office too.South Korean 20 year old dependant child Manila office
