My wife just went through the citizenship process. Application was sent Dec. 10, 2023 and she took her oath on Sep. 11, 2024. Most people in that thread were processed faster, and some are still waiting.

Wife took her oath today. Best wishes to everyone still waiting. I’ll be in the August 2024 thread for another application.

I renewed my passport and applied for my minor son’s passport earlier in the summer. Sent by courier to Gatineau, received both separately, but within 30 days.

I think Manitoba/Saskatchewan. We got a request for more documents from them for language a while back.

LPP done August 20, tracker updated August 22.

Still. Since April 4th.

Still waiting for LPP. Almost 4 months.

My request for more proof of language also came from the Saskatchewan office. We’re in Ottawa. No update since.

Still waiting for LPP here. Had the Language proof rejected and uploaded 5 other documents for them but haven’t heard anything since.

My wife (the applicant) took an English course to get into a program in Ottawa, so I sent the transcript from that. Anyway they weren’t happy with it so we just sent in her university degree and transcripts, plus the course she just completed.

Received a request to provide adequate proof of language yesterday. I guess the college course transcript I sent wasn’t enough.
