Timeline after medical PR

I applied for permanent residency under the spousal family class, inland. My husband is a Canadian citizen. I came here on a visitors visa on October 4th 2018, we married here in Canada on February 9th 2019 and we sent all the paperwork off on July 15th 2019. I had my medical examination on December 11th 2019. I was just wondering what the timeline would be for the next step? I know travelling is allowed but if I am refused re-entry it will stop my application process and I'd have to start again as anboutland applicant, but I have a christening back in the UK where I am to be the godmother in March (it falls in march break but the exact date hasn't been set yet) just wanted to know what the rough timeline would be, if I'd be likely to be able to make it to the christening or not.

The medical is one of the earlier steps in the process. It's honestly difficult to say what your timeline is from here - however a safe bet is to assume that processing will take around 12 months from the time your application was received by IRCC. So best to expect you're looking at around July 2020 for a finish date.

Thanks! I finally managed to link my application so I'll be able to check the progress from now on!
