Hello, I'm from Vietnam. My application was submitted in August.Anyone same me , I got CSQ 01 Nov and still waiting medical
- I received Federal approval as a sponsor in October (they mentioned that my application will be transfered to destinated VO near our area and I will receive a confirmation letter and further instructions for Quebec undertaking application.
- In Nov, I received AoR from Singapore VO without instruction for undertaking application for Quebec.
- In Dec, I sent a Webform to Singapore to ask whether we should wait for the invitation letter for Quebec undertaking application or just the AoR from Singapore VO is enough for further processing.
Singapore VO replied me via Web form that I could now apply for CSQ
- In Quebec undertaking procedure: they ask for the letter of invitation to submit undertaking application to Mifi from Federal
- I called MIFI: they told me I should have received 2 letters from Federal (first one is for my eligilibities as a sponsor and the second one is the invitation letter to submit undertaking application to MIFI) but they also said I should try to send the reply that I got from VO Singapore, if it doesn't work, they will send the application back to me. My friend just got one letter for the boths matter, not 2 as they mentioned
- I called CIC: they told me if Quebec says so, they are not sure, just go ahead to avoid the delay
Is anyone in the same situation as mine? Why no one, both MIFI and CIC are not really clear on that? Will I recieve the inviation letter from Federal or I should apply for CSQ?
I dont want to wait for too long because it will take 4-5 months for CSQ and i already received AoR from VO Singapore since Nov

For our case, IRCC mentioned about Quebec undertaking application on both SA email and transferred destinated VO email. We printout these 2 emails and sent together with csq application.
Thanks for your promptly reply. As my understanding, you received 2 emails from IRCC (Federal)? One is SA and one is for appointing VO office? How was the time gap between 2 emails. Did you receive any Acknowledgment of receipt from VO Singapore like our case?
Hello yes you should to get that 2 letters from ircc same in my case my sponsor sent my application without including that eligibility letter and MIFI sent it back to him then after a while ircc sent the eligibility letter and invitation. We can do nothing just to wait till csq done now my application running for 4 months and expecting to come out this january in god grace
For now it doesn't apply to family sponsorship as these are not entirely managed by Quebec immigration.
They are just taking their sweet time. There is no telling what really goes on their. When you call them, they are simply clueless. But to answer your question, the official public holiday was for three week days each of the past two weeks.
