Hi Guys,

What are the re-entry rules for SUPER VISA after the initial 2 year stay? Can my mom go to USA to my sister's place for 6 months and come back on SUPER VISA for an additional 2 years? Or should she go back to India and then can she get re-entry for 2 more years? In case of going back to India how long does she need to stay there to come back again? Please advise.

I did same thing u can apply online no issues.Only family information form needs to be signed and scan the form and upload it.Make sure you provide your email id so that u will get all communication mails.

I applied for my mom on Nov 11, 2019. Medicals passed on Nov 28, 2019 and no updates after that.

Not really certain but I maybe because of the Holiday season? I'm still waiting for any updates on my application too. Last update was we passed the medical on Dec18 and update since then.

I applied for my father supervisa in oct and i was expecting the result before jan 1,2020 but i think it is going to take one more month so because of this i had to change the dates on insurance policy so now do i have to upload it again in my cic account?

I don’t think you have to update the CIC about this as long as you have a full year coverage shown on your insurance document that you submitted but then again others can clarify this?

Mine show the effective date was Dec15 but obviously its already past and I called my insurance to move the date to Jan15, 2020. I might have to call them again to move to a later date.

Supervisa Biometric Fee Issue

Hello Everyone,

I am applying for my mother's supervisa, I was under impression that the biometric fee is $85 but the online application is asking me to pay $170 under family biometric fee. My mom is applying for the supervisa alone did I choose something wrong? I have created new GC keys and tried multiple times but facing same issue everytime!

If I change it to parents, I don't get the option for Supervisa.

The applicant is my mother, she is applying from her own GCKEY so I selected the relation to family member as Child/Grand Child because it said the relation should be from the perspective of applicant and I am her Child.

Hi,

I am doing a Supervisa application for my parents and have some questions. Can I put 'Visit - more than 6 months' in the preliminary questionnaire to get the Supervisa option but in the application form, '1-2 months' for the planned trip!? I'd like my parents to stay for a long time (2 years if possible) but I am afraid they might question if my parents would ever leave Canada. I find it already difficult to prove my parents' ties to their home country...

What would be a reasonable trip duration? Do you have to explain why your parents will visit (only) that long and their plans after that?

If I change the planned trip duration to 1 year, how should I explain they can leave their country for a year and prove they'll come back?

I'd appreciate any insights/help
