It is different for every one. For some people it takes 3 days, a friend of my wife's took seven months after pre arrival letter to get their PPR.

As per the current trend it may be by end of December 2019 or 1st week of Jan 2020, stay positive.
Hi i received my pre arrival on october 22,2019 and on Nov. 7, 2019 i received the same as pre arrival then on Dec.5,2019 my commonlaw partner received again the eligibilty. Until now still waiting for my PPR.

Noting is stopping them, its just the way it is. Usually the whole idea is to finish a case by the estimated finish date, which is 12 months. That being said, it depends on the case officer who is handling the case, so it is case to case. some do it in 6 months some do it in 8 months, it is sheer luck.
Though you call the NDVO on their helpline or (DELHI-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca), their response would be, "it is in process, we will let you know if there is any update through your GC account".
I stay in Ontario and lodged my application on 25th April 2019 and my wife and kids are in Hyderabad, India. I Know its nerve wrecking, see the bright side of it, you got the Pre arrival, no breaks in the process and just waiting for the PPR. Trust me it will happen soon.

Hi! My husband and I received pre-arrival letter then just yesterday request for updated police clearance certificate for India and Nigeria. He is Nigerian and currently living in Nigeria, but went to university in India for 4+ years. We submitted a police clearance for India that expired after the date he left India. We are not sure we can obtain an updated one for India at a distance and wondering if it matters since the one we submitted already covers him for the time he lived there. Anyways I sent a web form to the Accra VO, but just thought I would post here to see if anyone had added advice? Nervous we wont hear back in the required 30days. Thank in advance!
You can get the Police Clearance Certificate on the same day at any Indian Consulate in your country.
