Urgent : Upfront Medical Exam for EE but IME number already exists!!

Dear All

I received an ITA through Express Entry and it requires me to do upfront medical examination. However, the issue is that I have previously applied through spousal sponsorship and after receiving medical request under spousal sponsorship, I withdrew my application due to some family issues and didn't have my medical at that time. Although IME no. has been generated in e medical portal at that time under my passport no.

Now, currently I am applying under EE which requires upfront medical exam. Which number should doctor use to process my medical? The old IME no. (but then it will not be an upfront medical exam) or the other option is that they can create a new client screen for upfront medical and generates UMI which they can do as per their communication..

Need seniors and Expert Helpp.. its URGENT...

I went through a similar issue last year..

you would need a new IME number....... You have to tell the doctor upfront when you appear for the exam

in my case I did mention it to the Panel doctor about this and when my panel doctor choose to retain the old IME number and tried to override the previous tests report in 2014 with new test results he got an instant email from CIC officer saying he can’t do something like that.... so doctor & I emailed cic separately ( him thro his portal and mine through web form ) and I was called again for medical exam two weeks later after CIC sorted this thing with Panel doctor and finish the new form formalities and my results were uploaded under the new IME number
