Kismati am stuck at 464. Will lose 5 point on 12th Feb. Missed the 464 (2nd Oct Draw) due to my own fault. Still regretting my doing the day before. I updated my WES as masters on 30 Sept but the score didn't updated after waiting more then one hour. As we all were expecting a draw on 2nd Oct. and the updated score is not showing i decided to create a new profile and dump my previous profile. After dumping my profile when i was creating the new one i got the mail that the update is done. but the profile is no longer usable. And the day came on 2nd Oct. Draw occurred with cutoff till 20nd Sept. So i didn't get the ITA that day. Now waiting hopelessly. I don't know what will happen next. as i spent too much time in this. Now thinking of Australia. Already started processing for the Rural Program. I do wonder for those people who are trying for masters equivalency and CLB 9 and do not know the draw score trend as i believe if u don't see your your score 470 and above there is no hope in near future. As the following is coming in upcoming years 3 weeks draw gap, FST draw, PNP 600 points candidates (increasing), 1 May when the Canadian degree holder graduated.. So in 2020 there is no hope for below 470 it seems.
The secondary applicant is already maxed out here (CLB 9 and 10 get same points for secondary applicant). So you can gain a maximum of 3 additional points with primary applicant scoring 7.5 in writing (assuming s/he scores CLB 10 in other sections as well in the same exam).i am at 466! And come Jan'20, i will loose another 5 points
Me and my wife's IELTS score is highest on all sections, except writing, where we got 7! Do you think its time to rewrite the exam?
Also, if both of us rewrite the exam, hoping for a 7.5 in writing, will we gain additional 6 point?
I am at 468 . while waiting for our turn.We should not miss opportunity to increase our score. I would also be reappearing after practicing to .clb ,10i am at 466! And come Jan'20, i will loose another 5 points

Yes, it is like that. So the draw on 11th there were over 15000+ (1) candidates shown; now 3200 were selected that means the remaining people in the pool are 12000+. The draw last week shows the population in the pool as 16000+ (2) which means over 3000 {(2)-(1)} people have joined the pool in the last week alone!Yes. But I'm pretty sure that the draw number is "before" the ITA's being given. In other words, 3200 candidates are reduced from 16000 once the ITA's are given.
Secondly, and the bigger factor is that instead of 1250 people (2500 every 2 weeks), only 300 have been added since last 1 week. So that is a good sign for CRS to drop in future. Considering that this number was really high since October.
I m at 468

I think for some people, they need to articulate their disappointment and validate their assumptions as a way to get closure and possibly move on if this option is unfortunately no longer viable due to high cutoff scores. Also by sharing their negative assumptions, they can get correction from others and counterbalance their views in case they misunderstood the trend or over estimated the negative trend score so as not to give up too early if they still have a chanceWhat a sad forum! I stumbled across this group by chance and I tuned-in to learn from experienced people about the trends; however, 90% of posts are pure negative predictions. While the eclecticism is justified, given the high scores, it doesn't mean that we only have to spread negative vibes. Me sitting @ 458, and in February it will be 466 could not be more comfortable. And yes, I have spent well over 35 k USD and a year of my life to get this score, but bitching about it openly will not change anything.
Please do not view this post in a negative way, I am just trying to inform you, good people, that crying and revolting will only make you feel miserable and will not change anything.
