Hello
I applied in may 2019 with my husband and daughter as dependants. The background and eligibility are still in progress.
My husband is a merchant Navy officer. He has a travel history of 3 passport booklets for 20+ years. Can this cause a delay in the processing of our application? We were asked to resend the medical for my 2+ year daughter as she had an open heart surgery at 6 months. Medicals were maked as passed on 12th Aug 2019. This was the last update on profile. Then I saw a ghost update on 7th Nov'19. We made a mistake of sending her initial birth certificate with no name in the application. Sent the BC with her name on 22nd Nov on receiving an update on profile. After that it is dead silent. Raised webform and reply was "in progress".
Any ideas about where we are and how much time will it take for us.
My husband cannot stay in country for more than 6 months because of his nature of job. He has been home since Aug due to biometrics.
We are planning to go to UK for his studies for about 2 months.if we go, then do we need to update ircc about it? Can we submit our passports in UK for visa if we get PPR while we are in UK?
Thanks

Do we need to inform IRCC if we are going for 2 months plus. Also can we submit our passports in any country for visa stamps or it has to be the country of application?

Yes you can travel while waiting for PPR. However if that leads to change in address you need to inform IRCC. I travelled out of country for work for a month after AoR and before PPR without any issues.

could you please elaborate on query, didn't understand your concern.
Hello Everyone,
Our AOR is May 22,2019. we passed medicals, eligibility, criminality, and on Nov 22, we received an ADR for me (the spouse) requesting a schedule A, Updated travel history, and an updated CV. We uploaded the ADs 2 days after the ADR email and it's been 3 weeks since then. On our dashboard it says " we are reviewing the additional documents you provided", called ircc twice and we got a very general answer (all is passed and security is being processed). anyone with the same case? any help?

Aah okay, you should be nearing completion of your application, unless you are under security screening. IRCC depends on others for security checks and hence I would assume even IRCC wont be able to commit a deadline. Since other stages are marked as passed, nothing to worry about. Best luck and wait for PPR:)

Looks like I have just gotten a ghost update on my profile now. I have called IRCC and the agent said - "All the steps are completed. When they make a final decision, you will get an email. That usually takes 1 to 2 weeks" I asked her if the steps are completed positively - she said "I cannot tell you that information, however eligibility is passed, security is passed"

How many days after this step we can expect the PPR?

I also called them for the second time few days ago and they said again all stages passed and my file just waiting for an officer to approve, 7mth+ AOR VO Ottawa. I wander what pattern Cic uses to approve and issue ppr’s that even the call center agents have no idea?
I guess there’s a preference for families, NOC or just randomly case specific.
Either way Cic seems to be very unpredictable
