Did you get correspondence letter for Bio-metric? If yes, when and from where you got it (You can check location in the end of correspondence letter.)
Yes I did get correspondence letter for Biometrics (ottawa) for Self on 07 th December...Biometric done on 09 th December at VFS Delhi.....got passport submission letter on 12th December.
No Biometrics for son was required. (below 18yrs).
What could be the reason for delay in his application as mine is approved. We are travelling together.

Application submitted - 19th November
Bio-metric request letter - 20th November
Bio-metric done - 21st November
Acknowledge email - 3rd December
Medical updated - 12 Nov (Visa is for more than 6 month)
Bio-metric correspondence letter - 13 November
PPR - 14 November

Update on Dec 13 2019 (10:00 PM): Email from them saying 2 reasons for rejection. (1) Purpose of visit (2) financial status
1) Purpose was 3 weeks tour. had good travel history. previous visits to Europe.... but they are not satisfied!
2) had 10k CAD in bank. But only recent statement- Not a 6months deposit!
Too sad to talk about it more! literally in tears.

Refusal on 10th dec saying same reasons like yours. Financial and purpose of visit. It’s a 10days trip and had 7.5k CAD in account. Mine also a recent deposit. Not a old one ! Have you applied for second time ??!
actually had 19k CAD in bank account (sorry for the previous typo).
Not applying a second time as nothing has changed since last application.
(provided job letter, salary slips of 6 months, properties, assets, proof of travels, explanation letter, travel itinerary everything.. only missing 6 months bank statement; still got rejected
and they also found a second reason for rejection "purpose of visit", in addition to "financial status"!
