The health lab that's processing my blood work results is apparently a bit slow, there has been a delay on their end, that is what the clinic I did my medical exam at told me. They should be receiving it early this week the clinic said. I know it's been 'only' 12 days since I did the medical exam, I just want it to be completed already. Patience patience.

Look on the bright side, the SA "sponsor approval" and background check do not rely on medical passed. So even if they take some time with posting the results, everything else will keep moving forward~

Not necessarily. There isn't that much of a difference in the number of applicants. The is no explanation honestly, at least not one that was given to June applicants. Possibly June vs July applicants are being handled in different offices.

Edit: In short, all we can do is speculate!

How long does it take for IRCC to change the medical request status to "received"? The clinic finally submitted the results yesterday, but there is no message on my profile so far. Do they update it on ecas, too?

It takes around 10-20 days usually
