Congrats!

I know right?! Mine came a week after the interview which I didn't expect. Such a good feeling.

I had my landing interview this week and they informed me the photos I handed in on that day will be used on the PR card, not the ones I submitted in the application.

Well, my application is fully complete and as of yesterday I'm a Canadian permanent resident! The landing interview was quick and stress free, not to mention the staff were so kind and informative. Good luck everyone!

Thank you! Hopefully you get an update soon. Below is my timeline. Application received at CIC: July 15th. AOR: August 22nd. OWP approved: October 4th. Medical request: November 23rd. Medical passed: December 16th. PR approved pending interview: January 26th.

I just got notified that my permanent residence has been approved and now I just wait for my interview in Vancouver. Very exciting!

Same here. It said medical passed and the date.

I did a day before my background check started. I'm not sure why it happens.

I believe it means they haven't started that part yet.

My background check started today! My CIC account still hasn't changed regarding the submission of my medical exam, but it's good things are moving forward regardless.
