Honey, by February you will have PR. Don't worry so far in the future. Stay positive!I've completed my medical exam yesterday! I feel good about our(July Applicant) speed of application process, but also worried that I might need to apply OWP since my current PGWP will expire in May 2020.
Should I be safe and apply OWP in February so that I can keep my current job?
Also, is anyone aware of how I can transfer from PGWP to OWP once I receive in mail? Wonder if there's any issue with 2 work permits by overlapping period? :0
Aww!!Honey, by February you will have PR. Don't worry so far in the future. Stay positive!
No problem! What's your timeline?Aww!!
Thank you for the sweet word, my friend! haha
Supposedly there are specific places you do biometrics for CIC.. similarly to the medicals we did.Hi everyone, I have a question about biometrics!
Does anyone know how that works?
I've been researching in other forums, some people mentioned that inland applicants are exempt from giving biometrics because there were no inland offices that provide biometric services.
I just checked the website, they updated it since December 3 -- there are now inland offices that do biometrics.
If I gave biometrics (photos, fingerprints) at an airport at a self-kiosk because I am travelling, does that count as giving biometrics for my Spousal Sponsorship application as well? Does cic have access to those?
Or, is there a different process for cic biometrics? Do I personally need to send anything in for biometrics?
Thanks in advance

Spoke with bank people today. They need two id proofs and one among those should confirm the same address as mine. As she has only passport they did not accepted to add my wife as joint account holder.I am under visitor status however my husband included my name on one utility bill , I was able to be a joint account holder, and I was able to go on our mortgage! See if you can include her! Hope this helps.
Did your wife receive an Open Work Permit? Because a SIN number counts as a form of ID in the bank.Spoke with bank people today. Looks like getting a notarized letter is the only option left for me.
Thanks
