It's been so difficult getting a nanny for a while. My friend was approved an LMIA last year but the nanny she tried to bring got denied three times. I am hoping this stream will be less complicated. How much are we required to pay a Live-in caregiver after room and board? Is it the same as before? Has anyone brought anyone over through this new stream. You have to pay them at least the minimum wage in your province.

Minimum wage plus various deductions, holiday pay, etc. There is information online. With the new program many nannies will want to live independently with their families.

No you don’t have to offer benefits like extended health benefits. There may be people who do but they are in the minority.

Hello, I am Saltanat I am 40 and I am in Kazakhstan. I am looking for a job as a nanny for children. I have plenty of experience. All my documents have already been arranged exept a job offer, I mean I have ECE Certificates, First Aid certificate, IELTS 6.5, driving licence, cover letter. references, resume. Now I am a caregiver for two lovely girls aged 12 and 14. Anyway, all other information is clearly written in my cover letter.
