What is the generic email ? Are you talking about the letter that says "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor" and then it provides a list as below :

Please note that the following documentation is required for your sponsored family members. If
not already included in your application, please obtain and submit as soon as possible:

1) Passport/Travel Document: Your relative must submit a copy of their passport.
2) Biometrics (if applicable):
3) Police Certificate:
4) Country Specific Requirements: Please refer to the country specific requirements listed for
spouses, as these documents are applicable to parents and grandparents.
5) Supplementary Information - Your Travels (IMM 5562): The principal applicant and all family
members included in the application who are 18 years of age or older must complete this form.
6) Details of Military Service - IMM 5546 (if applicable): Complete this form for anyone included
on the application who has ever held a high ranking/senior official government position or
served in the military, army, defence or police unit, (including National Service), and submit a
copy of the military card/booklet, including blank pages, if applicable.
7) CV/Resume: Please provide a CV/Resume for the principal applicant and dependent spouse (if
applicable) detailing education and employment information from the age of 18.
In order to facilitate faster processing, please send these documents by email.

Is this generic email? If yes, then I ll have to act on PCC because I was thinking like medicals and bio-metrics I ll receive a separate email asking for PCC.

Please advise ????????????????????????
Yes, this is the mail I received yesterday after Bio and IME few days earlier. It is an SA approval letter as well asking for other documents.
I am calling it generic as it lists the documents that others too are being asked. Applying for PCC doesn't require a separate IRCC letter.
This is my understanding, others my comment.

Hello
I have question regarding family size as am planning for 2020 PGP application.
I got married in 2018 and i will be provoding 2017,2018 ,2019 notice of assesment.Does my wife count for 2017 family size for income requirement purpose.I talked to lawyer and he says you need to have minimum income for all 3 years for the size of family on the date of application.but CIC website has contradictory explanations i will paste one example from cic website below. If some one can clarify that would be great.

Example 3
Ryan and Anne became common-law partners in 2017. They had a baby in 2018. Ryan wants to sponsor his grandmother and grandfather. Ryan’s grandparents don’t have any dependent children. Anne will be the co-signer.

If Ryan wants to sponsor his grandparents in 2019, Ryan and Anne (together) have to meet the income requirements for 2018, 2017 and 2016.

In 2016, Ryan’s family size was 3:

  • Ryan
  • his grandmother and grandfather
In 2017, Ryan’s family size was 4:

  • Ryan
  • his grandmother and grandfather
  • his partner, Anne
In 2018, Ryan’s family size was 5:

  • Ryan
  • his grandmother and grandfather
  • his partner, Anne
  • his baby
Even though Anne is only included in the family size in 2017, she has to provide her proof of income for 2018, 2017 and 2016, as she’s the co-signer on the application.

given is the link where you can find this:-https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1460&top=14
Until the pgp2020 is posted nobody can guarantee how family will be counted. Last year was the first time they didn’t use current family size for everything.

To me, webform is the only way to communicate with IRCC. Sending email to CPC-M is so difficult.
But in my opinion, no need to rush to update that information now. You can do that when you receive sponsorship approval and visa office is determined.
Appreciate your response. I got the Application Receive, probably just have to wait for another feedback from them.

Hi, I contacted IRCC using webform informing that I did note received the Sponsor Approval letter (SA decision made Oct 15) but have received the Biometric and IME request for the PA & Dependant, which were submitted in mid-Nov along with PCC submitted upfront. Just last night, I received the SA letter dated Dec 4th, asking for passport copy, PCC, supplementary travel, RPRF, CV, etc, which I'm assuming are generic.

I am looking for suggestions from the experts here, since all the required additional documents were already submitted when the original sponsorship application was submitted which includes, passport copy, travel details, CV, all these details were filled in the FORM eimm5669e.pdf (under section 5 - Education, section 6 - Personal History) for both PA + Dependant.

Do I need to resubmit PP COPY + TRAVEL HISTORY + CV?

@YULIA-2016 / @robertp

Please update Row#143 in Tracker as DM for PA in eCAS... Not sure exactly when that happened though as I was fed up of checking eCAS and MyCIC everyday and not finding anything new, so decided to check it only today after a week and noticed it had changed to DM.

No update in MyCIC though !??
Congrats...yes, there won't be an update in myCIC, till you get PPR

This is thread to share information and timeline for Parents and grandparents Sponsorship in 2019. There was another thread which got spammed by many users and got removed.

Are both parents required for sponsorship for permanent residency? What if one is not capable of traveling? Will the other parent be denied for permanent residency?
