Passports to Accra Visa Office !

Nah no updates yet. It's 2 weeks exactly today. Still hopeful i can get it approved and pick it up latest Friday.

You'd have been processed in under 2 weeks at Abu Dhabi had it not been for the original unfortunate oversight but you should still be able to get it sorted and get your copr this month.

yes now i regret sending it to accra. But at that time, it was crucial. it was a race against time because my company wanted to send my passport to Nigeria Immigration in Abuja and keep it there for at least 3 weeks just to process my temporary resident visa. So i thought, the PR visa is faaaar more important. And in the instructions of the PPR of Abu Dhabi, if I send it through courier, they will send it back through aramex. My fear was Kano, Nigeria might not be serviced by aramex.

Finally i received passport back today.

Sent on 13th November at VFS Abuja
Delivered on 15th November
Didn't get any update, email nor message.
Call VFS and they said they don't have my passport
Sent a friend of mine, on 29th to the embassy, and he saw the passport where it was abandoned
Same 29th November i received an approval email and Counterfoil on my online account
Passport dispatched and handed over to courier on 2nd December,
Passport received 3rd December.

Delivered on 15th November
Didn't get any update, email nor message.
Call VFS and they said they don't have my passport
Sent a friend of mine, on 29th to the embassy, and he saw the passport where it was abandoned
Same 29th November i received an approval email and Counterfoil on my online account
Passport dispatched and handed over to courier on 2nd December,
Passport received 3rd December.

Got my CIC account updated to application approved this afternoon. Logged in at about 5:30 p.m to see this message.
Passport was submitted at VFS Lagos on Nov 19th. So it took 11 business days and 15 days in total to get this update.
Next up, hope to receive the Passport by this Friday.

Thanks. I hope so for you too. The funny thing tho is that a couple of people in my aor group who submitted their passports two days after (Thursday) and three days after (friday) me also got their copr updated in their accounts yesterday. Check yours if you haven't already.

Thanks. Just checked, application was approved yesterday. I had not checked because I was expecting a notification in my email.

I'll go to vfs on Monday.

How was your friend able to reach out to the embassy, in search for your passport? I’m waiting for my passport back with my visa stamping

He went to the embassy and told them the reason why he came. And they allowed him in.
