March 30 AOR still waiting for AVO. The wait can be demoralizing to be honest but hopefully it should come soon.

June AOR. Security and Eligibility still not started after 5 months. Ottawa is giving May 2019 applicants PPRs I haven't heard of any PPR received by April 2019 to June 2019 AOR's from AVO. So sad my visa office is AVO who hasn't touched my file since it was transferred (work load re-distribution). Only time will tell when we would get PPR.
do they let visitors in at the Canada High Commission at 42 Independence Ave., in Accra Ghana? I am an expat in Nigeria and I sent my passport to Accra VO via DHL on Nov 13. I havent heard from them except saying that I should contact CPC Ottawa. I sent it there because I received a PPR with a file name 'accra' so I assumed it was supposed to be there. To cut the long story short, I am sending someone to go to the reception with my files even my PPR, DHL receipts and a copy of my passport, just to locate my passport.
You're supposed to transmit your passport through VFS. You're not supposed to send it directly to the High Commission.
Nevertheless, if someone signed it in, then ask for the person.
However, I doubt you'd be attended to in the absence of an appointment.
I did not know that until after I had sent the passport. Now, I just want to recover it. I have been sending emails to AVO to confirm if they have my visa (which according to DHL was delivered there) and all they say is contact CPC ottawa bec they are not my VO. I sent it through DHL because in my PPR from Abu Dhabi, courier was accepted. Now thats a mistake, at least Accra can just acknowledge that they have my passport and return it since a paid air waybill is enclosed in the package. Ottawa told me that Accra is my visa office on the other hand. i dont know what to do now.

Yes. my CIC has been updated. It was two days ago. it says application approved. Now i am not sure how they willl return my passport. I emailed them and asked if they will use the DHL airway bill I enclosed.
have you gotten your passport back? Are you in ghana? I am in Nigeria. the DHL tracking has no update on my end. I wonder how long it takes because it takes 5 days for DHL to deliver something from Accra to Kano Nigeria

Wow Accra VO is really slow. I have been reading very gory details about their delays. I have seen 14 months and counting . I always wonder how they do their thing. Do they lack staff? Do they not come to work. I have not seen any ppr from Accra VO in the last 6 months. Its really really demoralizing. It's just very unfortunate.
