GCP is the Guidance and Counselling Program is for spouses who marry a foreign citizen.

PDOS is Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar is for spouses who are married to a Filipino spouse.

It is Mandatory and you will receive a sticker in your passport that you have completed it. If you do not have it then you can not fly, they will stop you at Immigration in the Philippines.

You forgot common-law also for GCP.... my partner did hers 3 months ago, she just needs to bring her COPR to cfo and get her passport stamped,

The last communication was on September 17 when we got the AOR 2 and they started to process the applicants part my Wife and we really need the PPR by end of this week or next week.

When was your AOR1 ? After we got AOR2 we didn't hear from them for 3 months. I don't think there is a number u can call them but here's the email.

There is no number just the email but if you have only been waiting for 2 months you really have nothing to worry about, our wait after AOR 2 was almost 4 months

When did you send ours? We submitted in Cebu VFS on Thursday, ad text it arrived at the embassy on Friday and was dispatched back on Monday and now waiting for it to arrive. We are ready to book our ticket the minute we get it in hand. Flight are cheap to Winnipeg for a few more days.

We are hoping to get the copr and Visa by this weeks end. Her appointment for the seminar isnt till mid December so we got lots of time. What airlines and routing did u find good prices

EVA/Air Canada is the best right now at $625 one way. They start creeping up after the 14th but I think they will jump when the black Friday seat sales end.
