I called the agent on Wednesday and I was told the officer requested for my medical to be extended. Although she said my security haven’t started but sometimes it might have started without the officer updating it. Anyone knows how long the extension takes?

My medicals were also sent for extension by the officer in September as they were expiring on Nov 12. I called last week and the agent told me that my medicals have been extended for one more year. It took about 2 months for the extension as the approval for extension comes from Ottawa.
Also they told me they extend the medicals when the file is on last stage which is security. But my file is on last stage since September. It’s almost 3 months and my file is stuck on security.

It's a good sign for MED extending request. In most cases it happens when they're doing the final review. If the extending request is approved, you will get PPR soon, otherwise you will be asked for 2nd MR then get PPR after 2nd MP.

Hello bro many people got 2 time pre arrival, why? I got in July, and after call cic, agent told me I passed eligibility, but you become 2 time again
