i observed 75$ deducted on 17th November from my credit card by immigration Ottawa. I remember paying that amount for citizenship certificate. Anybody else observed same? Does it mean anything as my status on ecas is still "in progress".?

Most probably the communication will be a request for digital fingerprints. I saw a similar update in Ecas on Nov 20 and then later received an email during the day.

I got FP request today too. Checked my local police station website, they only have appointments after Dec 12. The FP request letter states they should receive the documents within 30 days, hence I don’t want to wait until Dec 12.

I googled for RCMP accredited fingerprinting and found a few in Mississauga and Brampton.

No one would be ever able to answer such question. The whole process may take like 6 months for some and it may take +12 months for others.
