I do not think they would give up any file unless there is some thing wrong with it. Eventually you will get it, am sure. Though some files might get delayed out of bad luck.
I have been reading some reports that Canada is asking for more immigrants in the coming 5 years. I am sure they would now faster the process up otherwise they will be stacking tons of pending applications before their faces. Good luck to you all.

Its a paper application. Applied before this online processing begun!! Bar showed expected completion date on July 18 2019:D Now it passed the bar predictions:rolleyes: stuck with security check. God knows better when it will end:oops:

Every application is unique, but they should balance them. If you make many people wait more than 2 years and give others PR after 7-8 months is a good indication of a bad organisation. The hole problem is that nobody can really do anything because they are not oblige to make decision in any reasonable time. It is written that it's not a right, it's a privilege. They have all the power to delay your file as long as they wish - lost file, lazy agent or real reason, you chose one.

I understand you because it gives people really extreme anxiety esp those who are beyond the processing time. They should fix their system!
